Update: This worked. Opened core, then Console. Used "loadwallet" and it loaded. Still won't work from the GUI menu. Odd. Thank you everyone for the help.

Every time I try to "Open Wallet" in Core v26.0, the program freezes up. This was also an issue back in v25.0. There's nothing in the log file, the menu just hangs and eventually closes by itself after a few minutes…
