Hey everyone,
Has anyone checked out this ASIC?
The power specs are pretty intense.
Do you guys think it's legit or just another scam?
Appreciate any thoughts!
No machine mines BTC and doge it is a scam. Also if I built and owned these I would just mine and get rich I would not sell them.
They claim 1000 th and 650 watts for btc which is 0.65 watts a th which is 25x better than anyone else.
they also say 400gh for ltc/doge at 650 watts which is so much better than the best L7 it is impossible.
As philipma said, it is 100% a scam. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
OP, can you please edit your message and remove their link ? We should not be contributing to the referencing of this link.
Also when a newbie with 1 post asks that question it is basically 99% shot it is a scam.
So a piece of gear that has the hash power of 10 s19 j pros and burns 650 watts vs 30000 watts
and it also has the hash power of 44 L7's and burns 650 watts versus 132,000 watts.
and it is cheap price. = Scam!!
1st, kudos for removing the link.
No one said you are a scam.
They only pointed out that if you would have taken just a few minutes searching for what current top-of-the-line BTC miner speeds & power ratings are you would see that performance of the equipment that scam site says they are selling is pure B.S. Think of their comments as a lesson in learning to always dig deeper on your own before asking in a public Forum
Do a search using asic miner speed as the search term to see what I mean... The top results are current best available.
That all said, yeah that particular scam (dual coins at the same time with incredible speed/power 'specs') comes up at least 2-3x a year and is probably ran by the same people...
One does have to ask where you came across that site? I do hope it wasn't from Coindesk or similar BTC 'news' site which are mostly pay-to-publish sites. Several years ago Coindesk ran a 'new product announcement' and 'reviews' on said miners for company running the exact same scam and got raked over the coals for it. Hopefully they have learned to at least use a *little* due-diligence on that sort of 'news'...
Hope you wont tag me as a scammer either. I have belonged to this forum for several years, I trade cryptos but have not mined. I found an ad for Asicrun on Zerohedge (I also trade trad fi) and thought I would ask about it here. Sorry if it pisses anyone off. Not my intent, only looking for info. I am tempted to ask about a good mining rig for a novice miner but I wont tolerate any needless wrath.
Ok, I must confess. I HAD to look at this unicorn with huge hashrate, super low power consumption... MULTIPLE algorithms! Anyway, if I had any tiny doubts if this is scam or not, when I opened their website, now I have absolutely NO doubts. Their cheapest asic is AR1 Miner claims to consume only 650 watts for 1050 TH/s... what, they have 0.25nm chips or something? Except the picture shows antminer S21 Hydro with photoshopped logo on the side. This is not 100% scam, this is 10000% scam
It's pretty simple, you see gear that:
- is double or more in efficiency than anything bitmain or microbt have
- mines multiple algorithms
- is twice as cheap compared to what any reseller offers
it's a scam.
Neah, it's just 1000%, for 10 000% they would need to claim it mines ethereum.
