WON'T RECONNECT TO LAST USED NET After disconnect for whatever reason I'm forced to always having to do 'Initial setup procedure all over again (ie. Connecting to net: avalon_nano_AF51 > browser 192.168.168.168 > Chose Wifi > PW > [Connect])' so that regardless if I chose manual reboot or switching on/off the AN3 just won't reconnect to the previous setup network. Diagnoses or suggestion appreciated. DHCP = Static IP Firmware Version24071801_42c628d

One of my brand new out of the box Nano 3's won't run on high even with Canaan factory PSU.    Switched PSU's with one of the others yielded the same result. It's not the PSU so it must be something else in the hardware. It does run on medium all day and night however... Getting support is a pain: You need an English chat support feature from your support portal. Telegram is littered with scammers and has become unusable for me personally. In any event there is a bug in the latest firmware 24071801_42c628d.  Which you can only get via the Avalon Remote app which is meh... The firmware version 24071801_42c628d retains pre-configured passwords, settings and all pool configuration data when factory resetting through the web ui. Agree 100% with what was stated above all the tools and firmware versions really need to be placed in the support portal on the Canaan website...

I found that sometimes AN3 just won't let itself set to 'High' even after running om 'high' for a while it turns out it has suddenly has thrown itself offline I then notice it's mining on 'Low' ... If that's the case (ie. AN3 going by itself form 'High' to 'Low') there's no way to get it back to 'High' but to either pull powercord **) or using  'AvalonNano3RecoveryPackage' complete reset to get it to go to 'High.' For me the Avalon Nano 3 is a very unstable device: Besides from random disconnects the biggest issue is that: Avalon Nano 3 always refuses to reconnect to last configured wifi after reboot (w/static IP) It's been "a battle" using the AN3 since I got it about a week ago, somehow the FW seems very unstable: AN3 logs off intermittently /throwing itself 'off' the net for whatever reason where reboot/power off is only option. Now also fan spinning out of control https://ibb.co/kGyhwKTAfter reboot I'm forced to go through initial wifi-setup to be able to resume mining   Text: The worst thing is the pain that comes with the fact that every change in setup needs a reboot. BUT, doing a reboot the AN3 then demands that I go through 'First time setup'  again - every time!!!  - because it can't re-connect to same net previous setup by me   Even after no errors when just turning it 'Off' the Avalon Nano 3 refuses to connect to last used network by itself after reboot. No way, never done it even once! But at same time the AN3 can run for +18 to 24 hrs without any errors (aot this tells me it's not the PU (USAMS 140W USB-C 3.1) causing errors) Temp is 50/90 *C =pretty normal (**: which leads to having to go through setup again because it't won't reconnect back to previous setup wifi EDIT: Best way to avoid to many "setup changes"(like AN3 resetting itself to 'Low' is to pull the power plug & reconnect; This seem keep the mining level to previous set level, only requiring to "find" wifi again...

That's very much appreciated!  and BTW: Last session uptime was + 28 hrs uninterupted mining with an extra fan for more airflow, so there is hope!

Hello, do you mean you added an extra fan for the Nano3? [/quote] Just an ordinary USB desktop fan placed behind it. BUT: It's still like above, running for 2 hrs, 4 hrs, 18 hrs, then > Disconnect > boot > no net >do INTIAL SETUP... every time like above. Also: The AN3 never choses the primary DNS-listing, it always displays & uses my DNS' second choice (DNS 2) and lists nothing for "DNS Backup"

I hope there will be an update soon. It's really annoying that the device doesn't work properly. At the moment it's sitting in the corner because it's not fun to use

Got to say this is an extremely poor piece of junk. While it functions nicely as a heater, as a miner it's a joke. I've used the nano recovery tool to update to the latest firmware, but no matter what I do it just constantly drops from wifi, and then reconnects. I'd be lucky to get 5 mins of mining, followed by 5 minutes of reconnecting. I have 4 luckyminers all chuggin away in the same room with high quality 2.4 wifi signal, hell even my toy nerdminer is rock solid. Seems like the hardware is ok, but the software/firmware is half baked. When can we expect an updated firmware that attempts to fix the myriad of issues that real users are reporting. In the current state I can't believe they are still selling these things

So far my Nano3 has been running perfect at normal speed for the past 3 weeks. Zero dropouts, disconnects or other issues that others have reported.

I can't explain it. For some people the device works without problems, for others it doesn't. What could be the reason for this? Has the design of some devices been changed, different chips used or something similar?

Hi, is there an api from which I can get the Miner-Info? With the adress <IP-of-miner>/get_minerinfo.cgi I cannot get any information from remote if i am not logged in. If I put the adress in Chrome, i get all the providet infos but I would have the information in iobroker or FHEM (or something else) with RegEx an parser. Greetings

well you could have wifi interference which will screw the device up. I have two set to medium speed they are pretty much flawless for me. But I do lose the wifi connection every 2-3 weeks I need to reboot and I am back in 2-3 minutes.

Just had that happen for the 1st time yesterday. I was checking my stats on Kano and saw it was offline und ja miner had been running about 3 weeks. Rebooted and all is well again.
