So, Bank of America just dropped some interesting info, putting Bitcoin among the most disruptive innovations over the last 1,000 years. I was trying to locate the original report on their official site but had no luck getting my hands on it. For reference, the red circle in the image points out AI, while Bitcoin is ranked just under it, sitting three spots below AI on that chart. You can spot it easily if you look closely. The chart from the Bank of America report gives another perspective on Bitcoin's groundbreaking impact. Check out these other resources discussing why Bitcoin is considered revolutionary. I remember we've had this conversation a long time ago on the forum, and my stance on the matter remains the same. Bitcoin shouldn't be so high up in the chart relative to other things that are below it. Bitcoin is a genius innovation, but when we talk about technological disruption, it is below a lot of things. Things like cell phones and the World Wide Web were more disruptive than Bitcoin. Bitcoin did not make any other products or services obsolete, at least not yet. It hasn't even changed the behaviour of a significant number of people or been significant enough in the actual world to be rated so high on the chart. Quantum computing is not fully operational yet, so it shouldn't be on the chart at all. I guess recency bias plays a role.

Bitcoin is not an innovation, it is a discovery. It is a discovery, like fire or electricity. It is not easy to understand. You have to go a little deeper down the rabbit hole, but once you do, things start to make much more sense.
