Hey folks, what do you think about the BitAXE Gamma 601 solo miner? I'm aiming to snag about 50 of these bad boys to kick off my first solo mining farm right in my basement! BTCBTCBTC

From quick search, one of those ASIC use up to 18W which costs about $150-$200. If you plan to buy 50 of them, you probably will spend $7500-$10000. With that amount of money, you probably better buy bulky ASIC (e.g. S21) which have better energy efficiency, higher hash rate and easier management.

ahh okok I was just under the assumption that with the Bitaxe gamma having a safer and lower amount of wattage and If i can have a good amount running for a year or two all year around I believe with the 12-36 TH/s solo miners it would have a chance of hitting a block  1 in 475,180 time's a day but 1 in 1,032 chance per year out of 365 day's of the year so If i could risk it and slowly save up over the time and make a farm of bitaxe gamma's (also could get other miners along the way once I can save up enough pocket money) mainly picking the bitaxe due to how cheap it is and my budget(not really high due to my bank being under 1K) file:///C:/Users/Owner/Pictures/Screenshots/Screenshot%202025-02-15%20215946.png

We cannot open the files from your computer   If you want us to see it, I'd suggest you upload it to talkimg.com or imgbb.com or whatever. Then post here the link. (keep in mind that the img tag will not work because you are a newbie; but the link will do).

okay you can buy this instead. https://altairtech.io/product/bitchimney/ the t21 model is 2k it will do 47th  at 1000 watts if you have patience I will be building my own version and can sell it at 1500 not 2000 .  be ready in 2 weeks you would be wasting a lot of money to buy the bitaxes

Nice I also gave this a quick look but did not go into a deep look into the Bit chimney how well does it work as a space heater on top of it being a miner lol? also thank you for the offer! I may take that up as well as getting these bit axe's My budget is quite tight atm due to me being the only one with a job at 21 with my mother attempting to find another job atm and me helping pay bill's as much as I can from time to time on top of my own payment's etc. I am fully willing to work out a payment plan with you and a large some as a deposit and put on hold for your rig?

I'll help your showing the screenshot. Many website shows BitAXEGamma 601 have hashrate around 1 TH/s to 1.2 TH/s, not 12 TH/s. So the actual chance is 10x lower and it doesn't seem to consider growing hashrate over time.

12 is for the amount of bitaxe gammas i would need to achieve 12TH/s or more pre much 1 gamma =1.2TH/s x the amount of gammas i get = the amount of th/s I should be getting with the amount of miners I get lol

You may not want to hear this, but it’s the truth: if you are still struggling to pay your bills and have a mother to support, solo mining is not the right option for you. Let me clarify. The cost of miners like Bitaxe or any others you might consider ranges from $1,000 to $10,500, based on your previous comments. Someone even suggested that you buy a standalone ASIC miner for its power efficiency, yet you responded by saying you want to invest in both a large ASIC and a Bitaxe miner. Let’s be honest—these miners won't necessarily provide you with daily income, and you have bills to pay. Have you considered whether you can afford to spend thousands on a Bitcoin solo mining setup while still going to work every day, all without feeling frustrated about not seeing a return on your investment? Solo mining is challenging and is typically suited for individuals who earn income from multiple sources. I hope you understand what you’re getting into. I wish you all the best.
