We're putting forward the Bitcoin Talk Coin, which playfully carries the ticker $BTC as a joke. This is the same place where Bitcoin initially came to life, and countless other altcoins have been introduced. It’s also the spot where Satoshi did his thing and shared his thesis on BTC.

The start of everything is shaky, the same way bitcoins early beginnings were shaky, the core contributors eventually fight through, the believers, that is what the forum embodies in its core. $BTC is for those that know their must be change, for those that want a difference the spirit of satoshi is with us right now. funny enough as  i write this i do feel his spirit BTC

For what purpose is this Bitcointalk token? So you plan to create some memecoins, or is it right to just say 'shitcoins' with the name Bitcointalk? There is no need for such a thing; the forum is just doing fine piloting bitcoin history and culture. We don't need some sort of new coins to tell the story. I can see you are already running some promotion for the new token on X together with other unfamiliar coins. I can see on your page it appears you are just some cheap shill who goes around creating or proposing new tokens with trends.

Whatever you're planning, I am pretty sure you won't succeed. If you're doing this in the meme coin category, it’s honestly no different from all the other shitcoins coming out these days. Obviously, you're just using the Bitcointalk forum for your own personal interest. I highly doubt the majority of members here will support whatever you're trying to shill. You are clearly just impersonating Bitcointalk by slapping 'coin' onto the name, which isn't what this forum is about. It looks like you're just trying to deceive the crypto community.

Just stop with the shitcoins. This is the problem with meme coins in general, they just launch token with whatever name in their mind starting from fart, poo, etc and the purpose is just to attract liquidity and to rug people. Just giving a bad name to crypto.

It has been 24 hours since the creation of the bitcoin talk meme on the forum through pump.fun the thing about the meme being on this forum is that it brings the two together, the og bitcoin core contributors and the new cyclers into one, bitcoin is historically relevant and still is, but new cyclers would want to be able to partake in their experiences, you might see it as a cheap shill or like we are taking advantage of the forum but we want a place on this forum where we feel part of

This is exactly why bitcoin talk coin will set them straight, there is no guidance from the og adopters with many meme coins, $BTC is the Memecoin of $BTC

Nope, nobody's going to support your recommendation to create a Bitcointalk coin, the forum already has a coin of its own, and that's Bitcoin, it's like disrespecting the memory and works of Satoshi Nakamoto if the community decided to create a Bitcointalk coin. And if there is ever a plan to create it, it should come from the forum administrators and respected members of this forum, not from someone who has not proven anything here yet.

I think the OP is just talking sarcastically. Not that he will create his very own "shitcoin". But rather suggesting indirectly that the forum administration come up with an official coin for the forum. It's a nice idea. I mean, having a "BitcoinTalk Coin" that would reward members based on their contributions to the forum. Quality posts will not only earn merit, but also BTALKCOIN as a result. This can still be a Bitcoin forum, even with an official coin in place. Doubt it will happen. But if there's demand by the community, I don't see why not. Just my two sats.

Creating such a coin on the forum wouldn't look like a bitcoin parody, but rather like blasphemy. That is, it would be a disregard for bitcoin and the merits of its creator. Why do we need this parody when the original bitcoin already exists? There's no need to create millions of coins for every coffee shop or diner when bitcoin already exists. Why complicate things when genius lies in simplicity? And in the same forum, bitcoin was created, not your BTC-parody.

The contract address was already posted in his earlier reply so he really did launch this token and made a few hundred dollars in fees. As long as you can make money off of stupid people, we will continue to see people launching these pointless shitcoins. Pump.fun has made it too easy for anybody to take any dumb idea and turn it into a pump and dump scam.

Coming from a newbie account nobody in this community will take whatever he has to say about using this revered forum where Bitcoin discussion was birthed to shill his shitcoin seriously, he should have known better that intellectuals runs this community. He should choose another forum where they don't understand the damaging reputations of shitcoins that are flooding the crypto market, this forum is about the real Bitcoin which doesn't need a shitcoin to stain it's name or reverend forum. It is insulting for any experienced person who knows the worth of this forum to suggest such a thing except a newbie who doesn't know better or trying to exploit the forum's activities.

This is something that can not make any headway, maybe the ops are just trying to create and get attention for themselves with their proposed shitcoin, what do we need another coin for when ops already mentioned that Bitcoin Creator was once here in the Forum as founder, for that creating another coin for this forum is not a considerable thing for the forum at least we should talk about more forum development instead this topic.

Look at him really ridiculous but still there are those who buy, it looks like he did a little price manipulation because this coin had jumped for a moment then decreased again, and looking at his trading history I don't think it's really the community that did it, maybe it's related to his own wallet to deceive many people in transactions, I just hope his fraud doesn't work. But I think he should have asked permission first to the community here, especially to Theymos as admin, isn't this an offense on behalf of the Bitcointalk Forum for personal gain? without any permission even if it's just for a joke.

Anyone can launch their own crypto, and if OP is trying to promote his project that is associated with bitcointalk then it is a blatant lie which is enough for someone to ignore that token. I don't see any real use case, the same thing happened on altcointalk which officially from the forum but recently it was discontinued so there is no point in creating a random shitcoin when the forum is all about BITCOIN.

Why need this bitcoin talk coin? even if it's named under the forum's name, we don't need it to be honest. But, say no more, we've got to introduce you the Howeycoins[1]. Once you read it, you'll get to understand it and it's not everything that you know of about altcoins.  [1] [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED

Yes, discerning minds don't need it because we already have Bitcoin as pioneer currency for the forum but there are those who will fall prey to buying such tokens if created. There are hundreds of such worthless tokens created daily and their devs are cashing out real big from rugging investors. That has gone comatose. Could that be the reason a lot of veterans here hodl anything altcoins in disdain?

While any developer is free to do that, we doubt it that it will get support from the forum itself. There's really no need to make one. We saw how the ICOs have been exploited a lot and how many got scammed before when its hype was almost done. AFAIK, it's a project by the SEC and just introduced here so that it will play out the curiosity of people of how many were falling for ICO scams before.
