I'm thinking BTC might hit as low as $30k if Kamala Harris takes the presidency. Some folks believe BTC will just rise no matter who wins in November. But I feel this time it's different. People see Trump as more crypto-friendly, and his comments about freeing Ross and getting rid of Gary Gensler are super bullish for Bitcoin. If he loses (which I doubt), it would really disappoint those rooting for crypto. Currently, BTC skyrocketed to $68k because of the election buzz, but if Kamala somehow wins, that excitement could totally fade away.
What do you all think will happen to Bitcoin's price after the elections? Do you reckon one candidate winning over the other will really impact BTC's market? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
BTC could drop to $30k if Kamala wins

If bitcoin will fall in price, it is not going below $49000. This price is not about the election.
But my prediction is that if Kamala Harris wins, bitcoin may fall but not falling below $55000 or even $60000. There would be a very strong support at that price. Later bitcoin will rise and get to all-time high.
But if Donald Trump wins, this may lead to bitcoin get to all-time high faster. But bitcoin will rise regardless of if Trump or Harris win.
That means bitcoin will lose more than 55% of its price compared to its current price. I don't think the impact of Kamala Haris' victory will really knock back bitcoin by more than 50%, even if the price corrects then I'm not sure many investors are willing to throw away their pearls at very low prices.
The impact is still there whether small or large. FUD and FOMO will play out around that, so anyone might need to consider a lot of things if they don't want to lose anything from their investment now. I doubt a drop of more than 50% as you fear, 10% may be reasonable as a panic reaction from some investors.

Kamala might not be bad news to crypto the way we predict it to be; there might be some price drop as a result of the disappointment if the aspirants who parade his campaign with what he wants to do crypto (Trump) don't win the presidential seat.
But anyway, it's all speculation; we never can be too sure of what will happen. Even with Trump winning after pumping the price, it can still take a reverse, but what I don't see happen irrespective of who wins the election is bitcoin dropping to $30,000 or below that.
Why do we depends the price of bitcoin on the upcoming US election and who become the winner of this elections, and also why do we make it look as if one candidate is for bitcoin and the other against or anti bitcoin, let us all excesise patience to be able to identify what government policies that who ever become the president of United states comes up with and how that policy reflect on bitcoin.
If we should speculate the price of bitcoin based on futuristic aim, then I will say thag bitcoin will be in a better price and even if it fall back as a form of correction, it won't go as low as $30,000 as you mentioned in this thread, if we see anything down to $50,000 that could be the lowest bitcoin can go if eventually anything like that happens,.
To be honest, I'm like this;
That's being for real man. We don't really care at all whoever wins that within the next days for the US elections. I even think of it that it just has to pass and boom, more top for BTC.
The question is, will she win the US Presidential election? Trump is leading as far as I know, so your speculation might not happen. But in any case, Bitcoin is too big to fall in my opinion to have like -50% post halving. So regardless of who is going to win though, we might see the price still moving to what it should be, a parabolic rise in this year cycle.
Otherwise it will be a totally different cycle? And with that, gonna be a big disappointment for us just because of the results of the US elections. We've seen the market as resilient as it is, so I doubt though that we are going to see $30k.

Kamala hasn't said anywhere that she will not support bitcoin if she eventually win the presidential race. Yes it seems Trump is championing bitcoin large scale adoption if he wins the election, but I think bitcoin will do perfectly fine if either party wins the election. The fact that Kamala and her camp hasn't said they won't support bitcoin if she wins will make bitcoin maintain it's price. Let's not forget that bitcoin ETF approval came under Biden administration and Kamala is part of the administration. Another thing is Kamala has seen how much people are willing to go for bitcoin, so I think she is likely to integrate bitcoin into her administration as well. I don't think bitcoin will fall badly if Kamala wins the election. Let's remove that idea from our thought. She might even come in and support bitcoin more than Trump that's shouting bitcoin everywhere.

You can't be true here. Bitcoin is not a dependent asset. It has its own independence and cannot be controlled by outcomes in the electoral processes. I don't know why you sound so optimistic about the price falling $30k if Kamala wins. Just because she does not truly believe in Bitcoin, doesn't mean she can pass laws that will affect the price of Bitcoin. They said Kamala might have lost her funds being invested in Bitcoin but spoke badly about it to the public.
Don't be shocked to see more adoptions if she wins because she might make controversial news about Bitcoin making people they get more interested in the asset.
Seriously I think we will have a little dip when she wins reason been that the media will as at then try their best to spread fud to the world about her policies not going to favour bitcoin and we all know how weak hands this days fall for that. But I believe her lost in election wouldnt make the coin dump to $30k like OP stated. This dip is around -50% loss from the current price, thats a fall that only an heavy world economic downturn will cause and not a nation election. Should even Trump wins I think it will also be a little pump but will majorly add to the catalyst that will fuel the pump for bull run. Bitcoin might be attached a little bit to this economic crisis but has its own cycle and only the demand and supply of its investors changes that

Bitcoin's value won't get impacted badly even if Kamala wins. We all know that crypto community wants Donald Trump to be the next president of United States of America, but even if he doesn't win the elections and Kamala wins and becomes the president even then the Bitcoin won't lose its value.
Bitcoin has gained enough value in past 10 months and I believe it will continue to rise in value in this last quarter of the year and there's chance that Bitcoin may continue to rise even in 2025 as that's going to be the year where Bitcoin will reach its peak value of this bull run, and there's possibility that Bitcoin may reach $100k value in 2025.
As always USA is somehow the capital of the world in estimation but its not the reality, BTC is closer to the reality then Dollar manages to be as obviously its a national based currency before it is also used internationally as the global reserve currency.
Politics also over estimates its own self worth and I would say the difference in damage between these two candidates is probably not so much. For starters its never about just one person in effecting change and from what I've read neither party is likely be cleared to pass new laws as and when they feel like, neither party will control all houses. Most often a president does not go unrestricted.
The most dangerous thing about government is when they all agree because there is a bias towards poor balance in the fiscal budget, more debt weaker dollar and a population suffering ever greater tax burdens. Neither party can apparently save the people from this problem. We can argue which side accelerates the damage fastest but I dont think it matters as much as is feared.
The market will move near term but BTC is long term and I rely on it to be more reliable then politics has proven itself repeatedly. I would not guess 30k for this year nor 100k regardless of who wins, but we should watch the reaction to better judge where 2025 will develop. I do hope BTC is greater then one country, that could be its strength imo.
Bitcoin is true enough to take its own momentum upward with the price of Bitcoin rising to record highs, as we are just before the start of this year's bull run. If Kamala Harris wins or loses the election, Bitcoin price won't play much of a role in pumping and dumping, if dumping, it's most likely to be between $56,000 and $60,000. But I believe in the Bitcoin cycle because it is a four-year cycle and every time Bitcoin starts pumping from this time.
So the pumping will start from 2024 which we can already prove and it will touch the peak price in 2025. But whether Donald Trump and Kamal Harris win the election or not, Bitcoin will continue to rise at its highest speed.
I don't agree with this and my best guess is that if she wins, Bitcoin could just dump a little to the $50k region and never $30k. I still have the believe that whoever wins the election will see price of Bitcoin rising next year in line with the four years cycle. It would be seen that Kamala will be a continuation of Biden administration which might appear not too friendly to Bitcoin especially miners but during such time we still had Bitcoin create a new ATH. Therefore, I do not expect things to go too terrible with Bitcoin if Kamala wins. However, Bitcoin will be better if Trump wins the election.

Kamala isn't anti Bitcoin. Heck, she hasn't made her stance on any crypto currency yet so I don't see why the price of Bitcoin will dip so low to $30k. Fine, those who supported Trump because they feel he had more plans for Bitcoin will be disappointed if he doesn't win and the pump will drop a bit but I doubt we'd see such lows.
Just like the others have said, surprisingly, Bitcoin price may not experience a dip if she wins , if anything it won't even look like anything happened but since we are speculating how much it would get should she be the winner, my guess is it will perch at $65k before going back up.
You know, it's not every day a woman is made president in America, so maybe she has plans for crypto but just isn't interested in making it a part of her manifesto or use it to garner votes.

If that is really happen, that will be a big discount for us because we can buy back at the lower price which we may difficult see in the future. I am sure big investor will not lets themselves miss that chance but will make sure they buy many Bitcoins. We don't know for sure if Kamala supports Bitcoin or not but we will see it when Kamala wins the US presidential.
Even Bitcoin price is down deeper from the price now, let say it is down to $30k, I am sure that will be temporary because the price will be back to the high price. Maybe that will be a good time for the price to increase. Bitcoin's market price can affect to any candidate winner but Bitcoin will be fine. No need to worry with Bitcoin.

While I support and hope Trump wins, but I disagree with your thinking. What makes you believe that bitcoin price will drop to $30k if Harris wins? She may not be any more friendly to bitcoin than Trump, but that doesn't mean she would ban it or introduce policies that hinder its growth if elected.
Likewise, Biden is not bitcoin friendly, but we also need to acknowledge that bitcoin ETFs were approved during his tenure and bitcoin has also seen significant growth. Things aren't that bad, we shouldn't over exaggerate just because we support trump.
Furthermore, there is no guarantee that after being elected, Trump will continue to maintain his pro-bitcoin stance and keep his promises. We all know that politicians are very cunning, we should not be quick to believe and put all our faith in them just because of their election promises.

Actually it somehow hard to assume that this incident will happen since provably there would be a changes happen regarding on adaption of bitcoin nowadays and provably that Harris camp will not do anything bad just like what Biden did.
For sure they would know how big the bitcoin community is and provably they would do soft approach towards this coin. Provably that crackdowns will not gonna happen but for sure they do certain regulation that can benefit them and also provably can make people happy.
Bitcoin adaption gain massive attention and provably that they won't do anything bad for it since they know lots of people will get angry if they do something against with this coin.

"They've come again!" Unrealistic assertions are everywhere. How has Trump helped Bitcoin during his rallies despite the hype? It has always disappointed people. And who even told you Trump is the messiah of Bitcoin? How many Bitcoins does that fake messiah have in his arsenal or name his companies accepting Bitcoin for payment?
Trump will not make any significant impact on Bitcoin if he becomes the president, and neither Harris nor the Democratic party is anti-Bitcoin, the proof is in front of us all, regulation is not the same as ban. Only that people are easily brainwashed by what is not there.
Perhaps you dream like the clueless people who believe Trump will make Bitcoin a legal tender in the US...hahaha...I wonder how that will pass the congress alive.
These all are just speculations, right?
I am wondering if Trump ever said that he would release Ross Ulbricht and Fire Gary! Do you guys have any source of news? Or is it just another speculation? I don't think Bitcoin will go down to 30K if Kamala Harris wins the US election. I do not want to believe that a single election can change everything. If the election affects the market, we may go down to 50 or 45K. But I would still support Kamala Harris this time even though Trump has more chance to win this election. Bitcoin does not need these cheeky politicians.
