Can Splicing Really Obscure the BTC Transaction Trail?

Been checking out the splicing feature in the Phoenix wallet. Is it legit for hiding the BTC on-chain trail or what?

Honestly, splicing itself won’t do the trick! Yeah, it’s neat, but it still leaves on-chain traces that can be tracked and connected. Once they add those blinded paths or whatever, that might change, but for now, I wouldn’t count on it.

You’re just sticking to one LN channel with the wallet. How is that making your transactions private? To really up your privacy game, you should send funds through various channels and recipients first, then mesh them together. And for the love of crypto, avoid channels tied to the same parties!
