Hey everyone,
Just got my hands on a Canaan Avalon Nano 3S, but I'm running into some trouble.
I can't seem to connect to any mining pools; they're all showing as INACTIVE.
Here's what I've got:
- Model: Canaan Avalon Nano 3S
- Firmware: 25021401_56abae7
- Connection: WiFi
- Hashrate: 6.27
Pools I've tried:
1. stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333
2. stratum+tcp://public-pool.io:21496
3. stratum+tcp://btc-na.f2pool.com:1314
4. stratum+tcp://sha256.auto.nicehash.com:9200
I also checked my router settings and made sure this miner is allowed in the DMZ.
Any tips would help a lot...
Sounds like a security setting is enabled on your router which is blocking your miner.
See my comments on this thread they still are valid today.

SOLUTION:
By turning off AI Protection on my Asus GT-BE98 Pro Router
this issue was resolved.
Malicious Sites Blocking
Two-Way IPS
Thank you all for your assistance.
I used stratum+tcp://solo.stratum.braiins.com:3333 and didn't have any issues. You can check it here - https://solo.braiins.com/stats
Make sure any ports that need to be open are set up in the router. Port 3333 for example may need to be opened for above but I didn't open it and it works fine.
I too have had issues with AI Protection Asus on same router. There is a way to get it to ignore it. Just need time to dive into it.
