Carrying a mining rig from Hong Kong to Indonesia

Hey fellow miners, I’m looking into the Bitdeer SealMiner A3, and I want to know if it’s doable to bring the rig by hand from Hong Kong to Indonesia? Thanks! Shen

I think it's possible to hand-carry a mining unit, but the problem is we do not know what weight limit is allowed on airlines nowadays. In my country it's a 7 kg maximum weight for carry-on baggage, but I heard some airlines can carry a max of 12 kg. However, based on the specs of this unit it has 15.5 kg weight; it's heavier than the standard limit, but it still depends on the airline and your ticket. Why not ask the airline directly or email them instead so that you know the updated details about the weight allowed?

Size is the other thing. Carry on baggage has strict limits for H x W x D. Again, check with the airlines.

I can only say that 8 years ago I had no problem having one AvalonMiner 841 in my luckage (in plane freight space), while I travelled from Beijing to Helsinki. The airline was Finnair. Check it with your airline before you travel. I think it is the easiest way for you to get a certain answer.
