As a miner, with only 100GHs it's pretty useless except as a really REALLY long shot solo miner. But - as a prices & weather monitor/alarm clock, looks like a nice little desktop widget with a reasonable price. Does the main display screen have a dark mode like the setup screen uses? That bright screen is not good for use in a bedroom.

not sure will play with it some more. I like that it has coin prices. I did BTC Doge Sol Sec The alarm is not that loud but seems to work. indoor temp and humidity are nice features. It is a Christmas present. You certainly can run it at the office.

That bright screen is not good for use in a bedroom. => It's a good suggestion and will let our RD team to come out a soultion.   Currently we don't implement idle mode to turn into dark screen on the main page. You can press right button to switch to information page with dark screen at current firmware version. We provide the latest firmware version download from our officail site. Thanks for your feedback.

We keep the best difficulty (BD) value at Information page to easily introduce how is BTC mining mechanism to your family and friends. From the BD value, Beagle is also can join the sharing pool mining except BTC pool (Ex: ViaBTC's BCH/XEC; F2Pool's BCH/Space/FB; AntPool's BCH/DBG/FB...etc)   Of course, if your friends also have a Beagle on hand, you can host a BD competition during a few weeks. It's really fun.

I consider it a nice Christmas gift.  Also you can point it to viabtc and simply mine and hodl.

at $120 its not far price wise from a bitaxe gamma which can do about 10-12x the mining speed with existing the gamma consuming about 15-20W which is double the beagle consumption of 9W have you looked into adding the price/weather display functionality onto an existing bitaxe gamma? its all open source so probably not hard for you to add a nice 'cute snoopy' case with beagle logo on a gamma, with your extra functionality like weather/bitcoin price/humidity/temp and time, workout some improved cooling solution, upgrade power to a usb-c solution, i could see that working out really well as a ornament in the living room or somewhere for visitors to admire

Thanks for your feedback, SoloMiner.   I remind you here is $20 per pcs discount code: A1wu47Fq. So $99 per Beagle.   Why we don't adopt bitaxe-use mining chip? The reason is we didn't get Bitmain's permission to put their chip into our product. Beagle's chip is from our partner development ASIC. As I know, Bitmain didn't run only selling chip business. Open-source is software, not chip.

well I have both.  the bitaxe gamma failed and I am waiting on a replacement. this product is very likely not going to fail. due to low power use. I own two canan nano one fails often and the fans are loud. I own one bitaxe gamma failed fast waiting on replacement. I own two of these snoopy’s fan is quiet and I think it won’t fail due to the low power use. Also it fits perfectly well on an office desk . the bitaxe and the nano are not as office friendly. all three are nice in their own ways, but I would most likely just keep these not the others. I reserve my opinion on the bitaxe gamma as The replacement could be good.

Cute Beagle is one of the quietest miner and can put on your office partition. No noise will affect you work. My colleague already proved it with three magnets.

Is ViaBTC's minumum withdrawal limit still 0.01 BTC? If so, this miner will take 456 years to hit that.. Some serious HODL!

You miss the point of it: Despite the name, it's not mainly sold as a miner. It is an information station that also happens to include a low hash rate solo lottery miner...

Hi Skot,   The ViaBTC's minumum withdrawal of BTC is 0.0001 BTC. But I won't suggest to join the BTC sharing pool at ViaBTC pool. It's better to join BCH/XEC sharing pool.   BTW, Beagle will give you more fun than only mining. Ex: host a BD (best difficulty) competition among friends, depending on weather situation to buy BTC (suppose you plan to do DCA for buying BTC)....

Mine are both point to viabtc and they mine btc. What I love about them is I can see: BTC DOGE SOL LTC ETH ETC BNB at a glance.  this is valuable if I decide to buy or sell a bit. Also they let me know it is a rain snow mix in my town. I have used over 20 small miners. I like these. And they will make money for me. As I will get a few buys and sales in quicker and I will just hodl the BTC they mine. My three other miners are all dead right now. One is MIA as I am yet to get the replacement. And the two nano are like fuck you we do not want to work for you.

Cute device indeed! Can you ship to Singapore by any chance? I tried to make an order, but the website said "Unfortunately we do not ship to SG. Please enter an alternative shipping address."

Hi cameloid, you can select "Vietnam" at first and write down your shipping address in Singapore. Hope you enjoy the Beagle, not only a miner.
