This seems like a straightforward issue, so I'm sharing it here to learn more. Maybe I'm just not that savvy about bitcoin. I messed up. I had some BTC in my BTCC wallet that I wanted to send to another exchange (I’ve done it before with a Canadian platform). I made the withdrawal and entered the details but ended up putting the wrong address for the destination. The receiving exchange, Binance, claims they didn't receive anything. Here's the address I accidentally used: 377UeUAEiGWmP958YzojwEfa6i9rxRcVbf. I sent 0.00991000 BTC, which was worth $933.04 after fees. The transaction ID is: 20e0dd6bf1e7b71f14d4e3160f8471090231a1340992e881c49609f6807184cb. Support at BTCC told me that since the funds have already left their platform, there’s nothing they can do. They suggested I reach out to the support team of the recipient platform and provide them with the TXID so they could look into it and hopefully credit the funds to my account. Unfortunately, I can’t have a Binance account because I’m in Canada, and they no longer operate here. However, Binance claims that’s not accurate and said they didn’t receive the funds. The TXID shows it was sent from 1FKf2-bsYfe to two outputs. One output is mine: 1FKf27x3kXK4hozS48EfxfGW7crR6bsYfe, which has 0.47930542 BTC worth about $45,127.20. I’m still pretty new to all this. Can we figure out who actually has my bitcoin from this info, or do I need to do more digging?

They are right. According to walletexplorer, the address in question belongs to luno. com exchange. What made you think the fund has been sent to binance? You said that you entered a wrong address when requesting a withdrawal. You should know that where you got the wrong address from.

Can you share the site of BTCC I would like to check the site if it's a scam or not. Another way to check is to copy the address from Binance and paste it into any explorer; you should be able to see a list of transactions if the TXID is under the Binance address where you sent BTC. If you can't find the TXID or you can find the amount you sent under the Binance address meaning BTCC never sent any BTC into Binance wallet.
