To tighten restrictions even more, the latest decision prohibits Russian nationals from having any ownership, control, or positions in the governing bodies of companies or entities that offer crypto wallet, account, or custody services to Russian individuals and residents.
So, do these sanctions affect people with dual citizenship?

These sanctions are targeted at Russian citizens and dual nationality does not release a person from EU sanctions. So Russians who have dual citizenship will be affected by these sanctions. But I am glad that the sanctions don't stop Russians from owning cryptocurrencies but limit them from holding leadership positions in any crypto business. But these sanctions can be easily invaded by appointing passive managers while a Russian executive will indirectly control the business.

In Russia, people say that the more the sanctions create problems, the more Russian citizens become savvy.
Honestly, I dont understand such idiocy. After the start of sanctions, Russian people do not flee to Europe with their businesses because of the high risks. Some businessmen who are dissatisfied with the politics in Russia opened a business in Europe with dual citizenship, and now Europe is introducing sanctions against them.
Thank you to Europe for punishing traitors How can this be called anti-Russian sanctions?
