I always find Fibonacci numbers a bit tricky, so I thought I'd bring my questions here for some clarity. The Fibonacci sequence is often used to determine entry points as well as identify support and resistance levels. But I've been curious about how this sequence actually works. How do traders go about using Fibonacci numbers, and how can we use this strategy to forecast market movements? I really want to dive deeper into Fibonacci and incorporate it into my trading strategy.

For me Fibonacci is used only for retracement, predicting the support or resistance on the current trend. It won't work on the consolidation phase, and it also won't work without validation using price action or other indicators like stochastic.
Swing traders do use this to look for better entry while you are in the current trend and use this only in impulsive spikes.

There are quite a number of articles and videos explaining much about Fibonacci, how to make technical analysis using it. I loved using it for determining the support and resistance levels, but the problem is too much of technical indicators onto one's chart = disaster
You might want to look at this;

The real reason? Crowd Psychology.
Everyone is reading the same chart, using the same indicators and they all are expecting the same thing to happen.
Math has nothing to do with it. The indicator works because others make it work. If people used the moon as an indicator we would have pumps every full moon.
Wow, I really did get the actual point now and I can figure out how Fibonacci sequence works now. I did got what I wanted and the clear explanation I wanted I got it both on the replies and the links you provided and videos too, Im very thankful and grateful.
Now I understand better, the forum is surely a place to ask and get clear answers wow, thanks so much everyone.
