Hey all!
Been a while since I’ve done this, but my room’s getting pretty chilly and I need some heat… so I decided to dig out my old KNCMiner and gave it a shot: it powers up just fine!
I thought I’d give this "lottery mining" a go (like solo mining) since I know it’s a bit of a long shot, but hey, I've got nothing to lose and I'm not keen on joining a pool with 550ghs. Plus, it'll help heat my room at the same time.
It’s been ages so I could really use some advice. I see CGMiner is kinda outdated and not really maintained anymore. What mining software would you guys suggest, and can anyone provide some step-by-step guidance for getting my KNC Jupiter up and running?
Thanks a bunch!
