GekkoScience launches 'Mein Coffee' 700 gh/s Miner

your coffee's never gonna be cold again!!! GekkoScience is about to drop their 'Mein Coffee' miner. This thing is a 700 gh/s coffee cup warmer that controls the temp and doesn’t even need a fan, plus it connects via usb-c. Just plug the pad into a usb-c power supply, link it to your wifi, and set your preferred temperature with two buttons. It packs four bm1362 asics that are fully temperature-regulated, ensuring you hit that perfect temp. The display shows hash rate, your set temperature, block time, pool info, and a bunch more. Sales are expected to kick off around mid to late September.

one bm1362 is around 15 watts at a medium clock rate. the tests showed that you need at least four chips to reliably get the heating plate up to 50-65 degrees. i hope that the cup will also be delivered together with the coffee miner - i have no information on this so far. its confirmed now: miner comes together with the cup

This sounds like a very sweet idea! I just recently signed a contract for new job, starting in autumn, and it will be very much an indoors office job. What better start for my desk setup than this cool piece of gear. And crazy to think how fast gear has developed.. I started ten years ago with a big ass Antminer S2 and now close to same hash power will fit in a neat small coffee mug warmer brick.

We announced it at the Nashville convention just a few days ago, in tandem with a couple other products and the new website with a store. The convention pricing will be good for another few days and then everything goes up to retail. Mein Coffee should be shipping in October.

Saw this in person in Nashville last week and have to say that is just plain amazing! Solid metal and wood finish gives it a premium look. This is something many of us could use around the house. Happy to see mine4heat applications are evolving past space heating & water heating. Here's a video featuring the product.

I was super Impressed with what our friends at GekkoScience showcased in Nashville! Awesome people making awesome products :-) I ordered the mein coffee for my mother actually - since I walked away from my job as an automotive tech to pursue mining, she’s been super enthusiastic about it even though no matter how many times I’ve explained it, she really only half gets it.
