Check out the latest silent consumer miner from GekkoScience, the R606, which is part of the Terminus pod-miner series. At last, we have that quiet, efficient and stackable miner that can be adjusted between 60-120W, something we've been wanting since 2014! This new miner expands on NewPac technology and is a big step up from the old Terminus R808 with BM1384 ASICs. It comes in a fully-enclosed aluminum shell that improves air flow and keeps the main regulator cool for better stability. They've also upgraded the heatsink for better ASIC cooling, and it has an 80mm quiet fan that’s a standard size, making it easy to swap out or upgrade. This bad boy packs 12 of Bitmain's BM1387 ASICs (the same ones in the S9) and lets you adjust the core voltage from 390mV to 460mV with a simple push-button interface that increases or decreases in 10mV steps, along with an easy-to-read LED display. No need for screwdrivers or meters! The Terminus requires an external controller running cgminer and connects via USB. Each Terminus miner also has a built-in 5V USB power output (with a 2.5A limit) that can power small controllers like a Raspberry Pi. It operates on 12V power, which can come from a standard 2.1/5.5mm barrel jack (rated for 8A) or a PCIe 6-pin jack (which has more than enough power). CGMiner driver support is still being worked on, but VH has made some impressive progress. They’ve got automatic detection for unresponsive ASICs that triggers a reset, which helps avoid damage to underperforming chips and brings them back from "zombie" states. ASICBoost is also included.

Great to see the "For Sale" thread starting up and obviously the official announcement. Can't wait to get my hands on one, although I will have to wait until the global release   Great work from you, VH and the team and for keeping the home mining dream alive for us all

Power draw is whatever you want it to be (since voltage and frequency are both adjustable) but due to limitations of the internal main regulator it shouldn't go over about 120W. But it can also go under 20W with the right settings.

Most re-sellers are still in pre-order at this time. As the units roll out, better screenshots, build out photos, updates to cgminer and step-by-step how-to's and support forums will all be coming. I know your excited, we all are. This is all new for us as well.  I have a prototype demo unit but it doesn't function the same as a production unit, I can post a screenshot of that if it helps.

From 419mining This seems like best way. At the moment I have 8 working compacs to give away I have a quasi  working 2 pac to give away  this was a silver color heatsink protype model. We will do a North America raffle  with 6 sticks  if you buy from a north american dealer We will do a European-Worldwide Raffle  with  maybe 2-3 sticks if you buy from a non north american dealer 419mining  had the idea of giving the ticket with each sale.  Sale must be for a sidehack pod only 1 prize per customer At North american dealers please pm me if onboard rockmoney minefarmbuy note if I missed a dealer for North america please let me know in theory 419mining say gives ticket numbers out from 1-999 rockminey gives ticket numbers out from      1000-1999 minefarmbuy gives ticket numbers out from   2000-2999 I do a random generator for each company  and pick 2 from each.

I have promoted  for sidehack gear.   I do various give aways  for those that purchase his new gear. Let us say you do 12 sales  of sidehack gear for the first batch. You would give  each sale of a sidehack pod a number 2000 to 2999  in your case 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 up to 2012 since you did 12 sales if you did 100 sales up to 2100 You would tell me    how many  numbers for pod sales you issued  say you do 37 sales  so 2000 to 2037. It is a bit of labor for your company to make a list of pod buyers and  the raffle number you give to them. I would do a random number drawing  for 2 prizes  of compacs  which I would mail to the winners. I think there are three sellers. minefarmbuy  I would give away 2 sticks 419mining      I would give away 2 sticks rockmoney     I would give away 2 sticks I would mail the gear  so not cost to the dealers  or the winners. I only end up getting  info on the winners to keep privacy issues as best as possible. I would save two sticks for the Euro/worldwide buyers later on.

Do you need a Raspberry Pi for this to work?  Or would it work if I plugged it into my windows 10 mining rig which is currently running 2 vega 64's ?
