Check out the latest hashing boards on the T1. They're adding 5 more chips and including a PSU.

An integrated power supply is a TERRIBLE idea, I hope that they reconsider.

Every time I have ever set a PSU on top of a miner both run hotter than before, this looks to be no different :/

Wow, that was a fast turn-around from the T1 to the T2. I can't wait to do a review!
They said T2's are going on sale when T1's ship out.
I'm mixed on the integrated PSU, leaning towards liking it. Quicker setup time!
The myrig PSUs are too noisy compared to the T1 if you run it in efficient mode. A good efficient ATX power supply is much quieter and if noise is an issue and you plan to run them in efficient mode, having the PSU incorporated is a disadvantage. On the other hand, most hardware is so loud these days that almost no one is trying to run them in their actual home. The T1 in efficient mode with a quiet PSU can be run in your home or garage over winter (but not in the same room as you.)

I deleted all posts of mine in this thread.
and will try to post this in a different way
below is a new photo /screenshot with alterations in red showing what I think is a short hazard in the new model T2
so to Halong I ask will the terminals be shielded
I will also put the link to imgur

Would be better to make it removable just in case the PSU dies. If it is separated, one can just swap the psu. I dont see wats so hard about plugging in a PSU. I had one old psu go down so far and the other one didnt work so well. The miner lives.
Just my 2 cents

I like that they added a few chips.
I am not a big fan of the forced psu.
It looks like there is a short hazard.
It will cost more to ship.
If it is a MyRig Psu it is 1600 watt max I rather use a delta 2400 watt.
If I can get one I will test it out and see if I can get rig of the short hazard.
Meanwhile I kept the 5x T1's sent to me. I will be paying for them today.

Hello everyone; it's promoJo again.... The guy who was suppose to bring you the DragonMint T1 review back in December but couldn't (for good reasons).
I would now like to present to you a picture of the T2. This is very exciting for all us miners and the whole community. I hope you are excited as I am to have one (or a couple hundred). Cheers.

So if we go by their track record they will ship these running at 16TH since that is officially 'within spec' like with the T1

not one of the six I had did 16.0 at 1480 watts. that is 0.0925
they all did do 14.00 th at 1300 which is 1300/14000 = 0.093 watts a gh
that 0.093 is good.
if these do 1575 watts over 17000 it would be 0.0928
I think the gear won't do this even with the 5 chips and better software.
My guess is it does 1500 watts at 16000 gh or close to that. which is spec for the T1.
my issue would be I don't want 1500 watt miners 1300 watt are better as 4 go to a 30 amp circuit.

I wonder what any of that means. 68 chips doesn't make a lot of sense unless it's a 17x4 running with a full-string voltage around 7V. Maybe by parallel they mean two-phase regulator to handle the current more efficiently? Or two separate strings (17x2) per board, independently tunable?

It would be nice if they get them to do 17th at 93watts a th but it would be hard use on a 1600 watt psu.

I think it would be nice if anyone built a sub-KW miner ever again, since not everyone has 1600W PSUs laying around.

yeah 800 watts would be nice.
But even something in the 1200 to 1300 allows 4 in a 30 amp 240 circuit.
and 1 in 15 amp 120 volt circuit.
Now a lot of miners are 1400 to 1700 watts which kind of stop a 120 volt psu in its tracks.
I have owned
Evga 1600 g2
evga 1600 p2
evga 1600 t2
cosair ax1500i
rosewill tokamok 1500 titanium.
every one sags under 12 volts running an s-9
11.94 to 11.97 are the most common spots they drop to.
that t2 psu seems sketchy though. i thought integrated psu would mean soethin like a server that can be swapped in and out like a server psu can. this is just a psu attached to the top or side of the miner case but we shall see. exposed full metal terminals dont seem safe.

That'd be nice for beginners. Best bet right now is to detune existing ones, unfortunately these don't offer precise tuning yet.
