Hey everyone, as the title suggests, I’ve noticed there aren’t many guides here on how to get around in the mobile version. I really think using Electrum on my phone is safer, but I’m lost when it comes to sending or receiving crypto. There’s this request feature that keeps popping up, and I’m not sure what to make of it. My buddy told me that the web version is pretty different from the mobile one, so even though he showed me how to use the web, he doesn’t know the mobile side. Appreciate any help, and if this thread is in the wrong spot, I’ll move it.

The UI/UX of Electrum Android is almost similar to the web version so it won't be much difficult for someone who used to the web version with the mobile version. There are some features lacking in mobile version like entering your custom fee, freezing particular UTXO other than that everything is same.

This part seems to be a dealbreaker to me, I mean if I can't customize my fee, I might end up paying much more than I should but thank you for the tip that it's the same with the computer counterpart, I guess I'll have to invest some money so I can save up to buy a computer unit, been wanting to do it ever since and I think that this might be the reason that I would buy one, hopefully, it will fit in my house that's so small.

Electrum do not have a web version. It has the desktop and the mobile versions. After you click on 'receive', then click on 'create request'. You can leave the BTC or USD blank if you do not want to send the amount the person should send to you, you can do that while communicating and tell the person the amount he should send. After you click on create request, you will see the address QR code and you can see where you can copy the address at the lower left side. If you want to see the address instead of the QR code, click on the QR code and the address will appear. If you want to send coins, click on 'send', place the camera on the QR code. But if you copied the address instead, then click on 'paste from clipboard, which is seen at the lowest middle part.

Thanks a lot, I'm literally doing what you've just instructed right now, didn't know that that request was just for nothing. I guess I was just being too cautious that I was afraid to do something about it. Thanks again. I'll be locking this thread as it has served it's purpose.
