Before I came to this forum, I honestly thought my wallet actually kept my Bitcoin. I heard the phrase "not your key, not your coin" tossed around a lot, but I didn't really get it. As I started reading more discussions, I realized that Bitcoin is really just on the blockchain. Our wallets are just tools to manage the keys that let us use it. This also helped me see why taking care of your own keys means you have to take responsibility for your security. As I kept learning, I stumbled upon concepts like UTXOs, open source code, verifying downloads, DCA, and so many other things that totally shifted my perspective on Bitcoin. Looking back at my journey, I can definitely say this forum has taught me a lot more than I ever anticipated. So, what's one lesson or belief about Bitcoin that has changed for you since you started participating here?

There are many and not limited to one or two. 1. Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme 2. Opportunities are lying down in learning about Bitcoin once we can discover the right part to engage them. 3. Learning is a continuous process and we have to be determined for the best so we can achieve our goal in the financial economy. 4. I'm also able to benefit from a true definition of decentralization right from this forum that beats brought to us all. The mentality I have towards cryptocurrency and any other digital opportunities has changed, and how bitcoin stand a different achievements everyone needs financial situation for our maximum profitability.

That we have only but one bitcoin; there is nothing like bitcoin on other chains. If it’s not on the Bitcoin blockchain, then it’s not Bitcoin. Before I do see and believe, I can hold bitcoin under any network, which is what I centralised exchange made me believe: that WBTC and some other shitcoins they claimed to be pegged are bitcoin, but in reality they're just tokens which they want to give you in exchange for bitcoin. It's among many ideas which I have corrected since my days here.
