What are the ways to protect miners from fire and theft? Is there a company offering such insurance?
Insurance options for miners

For 1, only a business insurance would ever provide that. Of course that means you have to register your operation as a business.
After that it is just a matter of contacting different business insurance providers to see if they cover what is by all definition a data center and the equipment located there.
oh thank you . i'm starting a farm. the comparison to a data center is great and effective for an insurance.
If you are in the US, checkout https://www.section179.org/section_179_deduction/ as you can write off most of the cost of the miners. They are computers essential to the business. All other typical business expenses such as building, power, etc are deductible as well. That is of course another benefit to running the farm as a business
