Hey everyone, I've come across this guy who seems pretty legit and he’s into p2p arbitrage. He claims I can kick off with just $100 and I only pay him based on the profits I earn. He also assured me that it's all safe, saying I won’t lose my Bitcoin since I’m just moving it between exchanges. The returns are around 1-2% for each trade, and he takes a 40% cut. Even with that, it sounds like a good deal to me. But what I really want to figure out is if this whole setup is genuine or if it’s just a scam or some kind of pyramid scheme. Thanks!

He's probably going to give you exchange platforms you've never heard of. Or phishing links where you have his deposit address. Stay safe and don't fall for this.

Once the offer seems juicy then know that you’re been scammed. No body on the internet loves you to actually want you to make money. If it was legit he would be so rich not to share the profit with you. He is probably going to do exactly what Omega stated and give you a phishing link which can infect your device or a fake exchange which you can never be able to withdraw from

If the offering service is referral links or providing liquidity for referral links, it appears legitimate. If the service involves paying $100 and receiving 1% or 2% daily or weekly earnings, this is a scam.

Hello, Thanks for bothering to answer. You can start with 100$ to test it out, then he says you need at least 600$. He says your money is safe and you don`t have to pay anything up front. You can make 1-2% per trade, and he gets 40% of the winnings. This is why I think it`s legitimate, but I`m going to take the advice of people from here, as they are more experienced. But it looked good to make 10$ a day or more with just 600$ start with compounding, you can go far. But you pay him after you win not before this is a HUGE point to consider in my oppionon

1% profit is very possible but this one the OP is referring to will be a scam. This means that you will give him the money so that he can trade for you, know that the money that people like you will give him are the source of his money. This is a scam or he should teach you how you can do it if he is truly trustworthy. Arbitrage trading in P2P market is what a you can easily be taught. Stay away from him or you will be scammed.

He says you are always in control of your money and you use only reputable exchanges. I`m thinking maybe he built a software that connects to the API`s of different exchanges and gives you a spread. He says after you make a profit, you wire him 40% of what you`ve made, and it`s safe, you will never lose, which is in essence arbitrage. You pay him from your profits when you make one; he only wins if you win. You make 1% per trade, and you give him 40% you can make a maximum for yourself of 0.6% up to 1.2% per trade. You don`t pay, you don`t get more trades. There are more than 1 a day. I`ve seen similar ads that say 300% a day, even 30% a day, but this guy is more conservative. He has a lot of video testimonials on his Telegram channel. They do suck; they do look dodgy, like an old guy reading what looks like a script, but he has a lot of them. So the conspiracy will be huge, getting close to 100 people to lie for you. From all these people who look like wanna be gangsters who can talk right, or old guys reading a script. But he has a shit ton of them. I don`t know, maybe he has some sort of arbitrage software. What do you think of this https://p2p.army/en/cc Maybe he has the 250$ version of the software, he spoon feeds us his trade, and takes 40% it can be possible. Before I started to take him seriously, I studied whether p2p crypto arbitrage is real, which is why I asked this question here. Since you guys know everything about crypto. What do you think about p2p.army is that also a scam? Thank you PS: I forgot this you don`t give him money to trade it for you.... you trade it and after you are successful you give him 40%

Are you going to transfer your bitcoin from your wallet, if no, like you have binance on the list then you can give it a try but don't pay anyone for signals Because none can be 100% accurate which means the signals that promised the percentage profits is not guarantee of winning in the trade as long as you are trading cryptocurrency, this is the reality and let no one deceive you with their sweet promises. Majority of them are going to end up in scam if you are nit careful and have to transfer your assets off your own exchange.

Hello, so you're saying he is gonna give me a sort of fake website with an exchange that looks like the original one and just steal all your bitcoin. Even though he says it's 100% safe because it`s an arbitrage, you are gonna end up giving him the whole amount of money? But what about p2p.army is that the same scam? I find a good point will be the one that`s number 1 on google organic search. You are saying even p2p.army is a scam?

I`m not paying anyone for signals; I only pay them when I make a profit. The guy sets up some profitable arbitrage opportunity, and we all move at the same time.

Firstly, in the online era, you should not trust anyone if you do not know them in real life. Secondly, if a stranger makes you a tempting offer, be it financial or anything else, do not delay in identifying it as a scam. Because the unemployment rate in the country is not low and everyone needs money, then why were you chosen for this. If the business was really profitable, then why did he give you dividends in exchange for some money. Do not fall into any of his traps, stay safe and plan to earn money in exchange for your hard work.

Hello, You test with 100$ a couple of arb trades. He tells you where to buy and where to sell. Then you have to put in at least 600$ and pay him 40% of your profit, but only once you`ve made it. If you don`t make a profit, you don`t pay anything. He says since it`s Arb trading, it`s 100% safe. But you need at least 600$ to work long-term with him. His testimonials look like those of very ordinary people, people who can`t even talk well, or old guys reading a script, but getting like 100 of them is kinda a huge conspiracy. If I were a scammer and wanted to get 10 testimonials from my friends, I wouldn`t get even one. But I did ask the question, so your opinion is important. IF you don`t give him the money to trade it for you, and you just do what he says, do you still think it`s a scam, or is it possible to make 1-2% per trade, 2-3 trades per day, 0.6-1.2% per trade profit, so you can make maybe 2-3%a day from arb trading What are your thoughts on this one What should I ask him in that would determine if it`s a scam or not do I ask him for a full list of the exchanges that he uses what can I ask him to find out if it`s a scam or not? Thank you Have a great day.

This is called money mule work for the crime world. In other words, it's money laundering. In some countries this can land you in jail very easily. In other countries AML is so non existent that there's no reason for this service to exist. There's a desperate need from some people to take cash. In some instances it's a while collar crime with no real victims like avoiding tax. They pay you 2% while they avoid 20% tax. Pretty sweet deal and no victim directly. In other occasions they traffic women or help the narcocartel or perhaps even assist terrorist entities. You never get to know. Is it a risk you would take?

I have heard that they give you a credit card with money, you take the money, keep 10% and give out the 90% left. But I don`t see how this is the same thing. The guy says 1-2% risk-free from arb trading. You don`t give me the money, you just do what I say with it. ( 1-2% per trade is realistic in the crypto world) I have written for some more details, but I`m looking at the good and at the bad. I do agree with what is said here that I might get a phishing link and get all of my money stolen. But I asked the guy for some more info about this, meaning how do I know it`s you, give me a link, and steal the money. What do you think about this https://p2p.army/en/cc Is this also a scam? It`s in the first organic position on Google. Can`t it be possible, for example, for the guy to buy this ARB cloud software and tell us from what exchange to buy BTC and on what exchange to SELL IT? Or maybe he has made his own ARB trading software, and he gives out signals fast buy from here and sell there, and you can make 1-2% per trade? I`m looking for anyone`s opinion; they all count.

The crime methods to make money can also involve credit fraud. Websites claiming to give you access to such methods are always scams. These things happen covertly. And because they could always land you in jail, any records are dumb to have. So obviously anyone advertising such methods is a scammer looking for dummies.

I still don`t understand how it is a crime. According to the person he tells you 1. What crypto to buy and 2. from what exchange to buy it and where to sell it. You are not mixing bitcoin.

Only rely on your strategies when it comes to making money or someone you trust beyond reasonable doubt.

Stay away from that, don’t even entertain it. It’s obviously a scam. Anytime someone approaches you with a “guaranteed” way to make money where they take no risk at all, that’s already a huge red flag. Same thing if someone is trying to control how or what you do. If you want to stay on the safe side, you decide your own fate, not let someone else do it for you.

I think I have seen something like this advertised online and know that the ideology behind P2p is very real but maybe you fear that the pitch is quite untrue or just extortion and you are right because it could probably be a scam. To stay safe during any P2p arbitrage transactions is to know that it is unwise to send your BTC to a wallet that the person you are dealing with is recommending for you. It is also to know that any return over 2% per day is really untrue and is just a scam to sweet talk you into releasing your funds willingly.
