So, Trump dropped a pretty wild message on his Truth Social that definitely crosses the line for a public figure.
He’s hinting at some major chaos coming our way on Tuesday. After saying he’s putting women and kids first, I’m curious what you guys think about the global economy moving forward from that day.
It’s pretty clear that bombing essential services just stretches out conflicts instead of ending them. Given all this, what are your thoughts? What’s your take on gold, oil, traditional stocks, and crypto prices?
All Trump does it talk shit. He has no class and it was previously unthinkable that a US president would act so vile over social media every single day. Most people just want a few days where we don't have to read about some stupid crap that he comes out with, the endless lies or some new low in corruption that he creates. He has no power when it comes to Iran, they've already attacked plenty of civilian only targets already - which are war crimes - and he is having the opposite effect by turning the civilian population of Iran back towards defending their country. The Iranian people have suffered massively under their evil religious government, but America is treating them even worse right now and Israel is just taking cheap shots every chance they get. Honestly, Trump is the most incompetent and ineffective US president the world has ever seen, if Tuesday means he attacks power plants then he just makes the unnecessary suffering so much worse and Iran will hit back at neighboring Middle Eastern countries. These countries are increasingly realizing that America does not protect them at all and are the worst "ally".
At this point, I personally dont take most things coming from Trumps Truth Social too seriously. He posts a lot and makes many strong or dramatic statements, but not all of them have real substance behind them. Its almost like he says things to create reactions rather than give clear direction. For someone leading such a powerful country, it can feel a bit too much sometimes, like unnecessary noise instead of calm leadership. I will just watch what actually happens in the markets than rely too much on those kinds of posts that he does, just to spark the market.
He is most likely trying to control the stock market. That is why he is always saying these things on social media. He might actually push through it and either this war continues or it will end once and for all.
On Tuesdays, he might decide to extend that to more five days.
And then, someone better remind his demented brain cells that the Strait of Hormuz was Fvckn open before he deliberately and internationally striked elementary school girls in Tehran with all 176 including their teachers and guidan dead. Is this how they wanted to liberate the Iranian women. Iran might not be able to break the US, but it will set them up as those making the necessary decisions in favour of the middle east.
People no longer pay much attention to what American President Donald Trump says. To me and in my opinion, Donald Trump just talks nonsense and there is no proper analysis of him. At one time, people might have valued America well, but recently, from some recent events, people no longer value America. However, no matter how many warnings he posts, perhaps his warnings will not worry Iran much because Iran will prepare a response to his response.
I dont think the strait of Hormuz is actually open for all ships passage but rather for limited ships I last read about and the others who might have had a thing or two associated with US and Isreal and this are the ships that are not allowed passage.
Seriously this war is definitely not going into the direction that trump would have ever envisioned it to go and thats why he is furious because even after shamelessly trying to start a negotiation the Iranians were not giving in. And he is furious and threatening back again. I think his last action only did not actually shows who he is but also indicates that this was never about the good people of Iran but his selfish self.
I think the lack of control will unsettle markets. Its not predictable how that will result exactly, my own take and personal bias is to expect all this to equate to Dollar weakness.
The reasoning why Dollar is undermined by this war is that oil is sold and settled in dollars not other currencies but the failure to ensure the flow of oil and so the settlement is lacking. Whoever is using that oil, it was sold in dollars now that trade is missing it means some of the dollar backing is missing and it is important. If Dollars only traded purely on USA trade not globally it would decline the value greatly.
So that decline in dollar can be bullish for alternatives but upset to markets is probably quite negative. Overall wars are bad for business, it was not a good idea to upset the status quo even if Iran is a murderous regime its not a simple or absolute situation.
If Iran doesn't concede, attacks are going to be intensified or Trump is simply going to do some casual damage while claiming on his social medias it was the hell he was promising to cause over the enemy. That way, he doesn't have to escalate the conflict, at same time he doesn't "break his promise", at least theoretically.
I believe that in the backgrounds negotiations are going on, so Iran isn't this irreducible bastion their enthusiasts are romanticizing. They are going to concede one thing or another, and in exchange, the offensive will be less harsh than it could.
No need to worry or panic, if that really happens, we are not alone facing that but all countries may also affect. I don't know what will happens to all market but if something bad happens, that will affect bad to the market.
Just to wait and see what will happen tomorrow, hopes that everything will be just fine around us and let Trump says anything he wants while we prepare for ourselves.
Considering we've been through a lot of wars in this year alone, the market is already priced in. No need to worry, even if the price move it won't be significant because everybody knows the world is currently in a war.
If you're holding oil, you should pay more attention. This could be the break it or make it whether the strait will be open or not and when the strait open, the price will go down because people are taking profit and anticipating the large distribution of supply.
It is hard to believe these word came from the president of the world's number one superpower. However, this also reveals his helplessness, loss of composure, and incompetence. Aside from spewing insults on social media like an uneducated person, he seem to have no other way to resolve the problems he created
Attacks on civilian infrastructure are war crimes and acts of genocide. Only the devil would do such thing. If they actually do this, many innocent people will die. I hope someone in the US government will stop this
I do not think so. The conflict in the Middle East is entirely different from typical economic events like the FOMC, CPI, or trade war. Its impact and consequences are unpredictable and cannot be measured at this point in time. Therefore, it would be inaccurate to say that everything has already been priced in.
If Trump decides to attack Iran's critical infrastructure. That would escalate the conflict to a new level and oil price would continue to rise. In that case, the economy would worsen, and Bitcoin could be even more severely affected.
As long as oil price show no signs of falling or cooling down, it is still too early to say that Bitcoin has escaped the pressure caused by the war.
