Is Whatsminer Tool a Virus?

I grabbed the Whatsminer Tool .RAR from the official Whatsminer.com website. My browser almost blocked it, and then my antivirus caught a trojan named Trj/Chgt.AD. I checked it on Virustotal, and 23 out of 63 scanners marked it as harmful. Am I just overreacting about using this software? Could MicroBT be trying to sneak in a backdoor on my system?

As long as it was downloaded from their official site here you should be safe because by default most if not all crypto software is flagged by AV software. Just allow it on a case by case basis based on Crypto Community trust of the company. That Whatsminer site is 100% legit.

it is a backdoor to the miner. but all their miners are that way.
