I know this might sound a bit silly, but is there a chance that kids will be making purchases with crypto down the line? The current generation is all about that digital life. Cash payments are pretty much a thing of the past for them. We're living in a time where digital transactions are just everywhere. Plus, since non-custodial crypto wallets don’t need any KYC stuff, it’s easy for a kid to create a wallet, get some crypto, and spend it online or in stores that accept it. Do you guys think kids would actually want to use crypto? If not, what do you think is holding them back? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks!

They live in a post-transition era, where online gaming has become their hobby & daily habit. I think they might be interested in crypto, starting with online games that implement crypto as their starting point. So, I think they'll love crypto & use it in the future. I don't see anything stopping them from doing so. You question other users opinions, what about your own? I'm curious to hear it.

I think that it's possible in the future, they're curious to new things and will make them more active to this kind of stuff. While there are some apps like cash app, venmo and other stuff. It's best for these apps to integrate with crypto wallet as well. So that if ever some of this kids have their own lemonade stalls, they're going to put a sign that they're accepting bitcoin payments too. It's not only about them paying crypto but also them accepting it.

It's no longer a matter of like or dislike; today's children will be using digital currencies 20 years from now. I think the government will consider the average citizen's ability at that time sufficient to transition to fully digital-based finance. After all, the government really likes things they can fully control , whether that's in the form of crypto or something else.

Most children nowadays are highly exposed to modern technology. Even if they don’t fully understand how everything works yet, they adopt these habits early because they constantly see the adults around them using these devices. It’s not surprising for a child to experience this regardless of time or place because we are living in the internet generation. Children today explore differently; they are incredibly fast learners once they take an interest in something.

It is very possible, isn't it that today has some outlets that already accept crypto payments but it seems that young children can't do it yet because the education has not been thorough to the new generation, but I'm pretty sure in the future crypto will be used as a means of payment, and right now if education has been studied in El Salvador in the use of bitcoin as a medium of exchange it should be as the implementation of crypto payments also falls into its category. Crypto is more effective and efficient in transactions, I think the easy generation prefers it over slow processes, especially in large-scale and long-distance transactions such as shopping abroad.

Bitcoin was created to serve as alternative currency, so am sure later in future, everyone will be making transactions with bitcoin, it’s no longer going to be something that’s strange, or something that’s not common. Later in future everyone will be using bitcoin to make transactions, so even kids will be using bitcoin for transactions and it’s going to be something normal. Actually we might not be experiencing that soon, it’s going to take some time. Kids will definitely find it appealing, because they don’t even need to complete  any kyc before they will have to receive and send bitcoin if they make use of proper wallet. The privacy which bitcoin is having is part of what makes me believe kids are going to enjoy making transactions with bitcoin.

They will naturally use crypto once they realize that crypto is cheaper compared to debit cards or any alternative out there and the fact that there is so many thing they can do on the blockchain. I mean, I've seen a lot of gen z trading memes these days, that's a good indicator that younger generation are actually interested in crypto, though I hope they don't waste their money on meme coins .

Of course yes kids will find crypto appealing that is for those that has a good foundation and orientation about cryptocurrency who saw the light and functionality of cryptocurrency, it is a digital generation and kids are much curious about navigating and exploring civilization, majority of them are even smarter than they appear, they will are willing to learn and do new things technology wise, the world will keep advancing and no one will want to be stagnated except for ignorant people, kids of now our days are nothing to be compared to kids in the years back that is to say I vehemently believe kids will surely find cryptocurrency appealing infact they are already.

They're more familiar with the concept of token, game balance, gift card, and so on. Of course they'd be familiar with cryptocurrency. I even believe that the concept of carrying paper money will be alien to them. But ultimately the situation will force them to fully use digital currency because it's easier to manage by any business through their ERP system. Handful of country in the future will eliminate paper money because it's a big overhead. Thats when bitcoin and other crypto can steal the spotlight.

El Salvador has taken steps to improve Bitcoin education for children. Bitcoin has been introduced for goods and services in that country and in some countries around the world, this process is in the process of being introduced on a larger scale in the future. We see CBDC as a digital equivalent of fiat, and the day may not be too far in the future when everyone will have a crypto wallet and people of all ages will use it for goods and services. Children may be inexperienced in managing funds, but after a certain age, that permission can be granted. In my opinion children over 12 years old can be considered eligible for non-custodial crypto wallets.

I don't find this as a stupid question since after all this is one of interesting things will happen on the adoption will happen in crypt. Those kids may probably have knowledge about crypto if adoption goes widespread and merchants support digitalization. Also kids nowadays are being adaptive and they know how to use phone and had a great chance knows about digital payments the same as what they do with their fiats. So what you have thinking is not really impossible to happen and we are actually heading on that phase. But yeah kids still need to be watch by their parents to monitor on where they spend their money and to avoid misusing their money on unwanted things or maybe those risky things that can possibly harm them.

There are some stores who accept it already, before in US there are some stores who offer payment like bitcoin for pizza, if im not mistaken some are already accepting it, so this is nothing new, would it be appealing? they already know that in some time in the future bitcoin and other crypto currencies will be use as payment. In my country there are some stuff that you can use to pay using crypto, also payments, they don't have a choice if in the future they need to use it, also, young people want easy access or cashless so yea it would be be appealing to them.

If we're talking about the future, it's certainly possible. In the past, we never imagined using crypto as a means of payment, but now it's a reality. The same goes for the future, especially in today's era of digital literacy. The transition has begun, gold, silver coins, then paper money, and now digital fiat money, crypto, and even Bitcoin. We will inherit this legacy for future generations.

In this modern era, children are now very experienced with mobile phones or devices, they have been using mobile phones in the present time so they are also familiar with digital payment systems along with local currency. And as they move towards the future, they will be more modern and will adopt more advanced systems, so the next generation will definitely be involved in transactions about crypto payment systems and digital payment systems.

Yes they will prefer crypto more because it takes the eyes of their parents away from them. They don't need to visit the bank for whatever reason, they can easily open crypto wallet and hodl whatever coin they desire. Kids of these days are smart and growing with the rate that technology is involving. In fact they are use to AI technology more than the adults because they don't even need to learn and relearn it like the adults whose era is analogue. These days little children are the ones that educate their parents on how to use certain phones and apps, they are always online surfing the net and every new technology is within their reach. So it is easier for children to use cryptocurrency without their parents being aware.

Yes, that's right. The changing times have become increasingly apparent in recent years, where we can see quite massive changes in the field of technology. Blockchain technology is one of the fastest growing. And it's becoming more widely known and even used by many people. Nowadays payments in luxury restaurants or even places where goods are purchased are increasingly being made digitally. In Indonesia QR code technology is increasingly being used by people for purchases because it is easy to use and even there are almost no fees for each transaction. So I personally think that in the future there is the potential for children to use cryptocurrency for daily transactions or even for small transactions.

This is a reality that will become a reality in the near future. I don't think we are far from it, to see the children of nowadays buy the things they want with crypto. This has been thought about and believed in, to come to fulfillment as the world is advancing in the digital era, and the children we have are not left out in learning and adopting the digital era into their normal way of life as they grow and explore new ideas.

You’re right about that; kids these days are different. To be honest, they’re so quick to discover things that even adults don't know about. I also believe that they’ll eventually reach that point too. Right now, there might be little to no interest, but once they keep seeing or watching it on YouTube, it's guaranteed to spark their curiosity. Once they realize the benefits, they’ll surely end up just like us in the future.

The world has become so advanced that nothing is out of the reach of these children these days and it only makes sense for them to actually explore in these fields one way or the other. The world is getting and moving to a stage where no one will be limited to any current or new information as everything will be digitalized and even the children will be having access and making use of these advancement. So buying things with crypto is one of them.
