Hey everyone, I'm new here and just want to share my experience and find out if anyone knows a trustworthy mining hardware store. After a lot of searching, I ended up spending $12,000 on gear from miners-world.com, but turns out I got scammed. They never sent me anything and just ghosted me after I paid. My order number is mw949761. So my question is: Are there any legit sites where I can buy good equipment? Thanks in advance for your help. My budget is $60,000 and I’m based in Macedonia.

I never heard about that website where you've been scammed. Why don't you buy directly from manufacturers instead of buying on an untrusted 3rd party? Anyway, you can check this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045732.0 Also, try to contact him offordscott or zeusbtc.com

Hi, I did purchase from them because: Was in UK and I live in E.U. they had in stock, I thought I was able to get the product fast to start mining right away. I will try to buy from manufacturer, but very hard to find in stock. I am thinking of waiting for the new KD6. Thank you very much for the links.

I have not seen any review about such site and yet you sent them a whopping 12k USD!? With such careless mining plans you should stop before you lose any more money.

What do you mean is very hard to find in stock from the manufacturer? You just didn't check the website directly on the site shop they also have newborn units, you just jumping without checking them unless if you're looking for cheap low-end units or used units? If you keep looking for unknown or non trusted mining shop you will scam again.

With that kind of budget you should be able to buy directly from the manufacturer.

There are so many scams on mining equipment sales. The only sites you can trust are those from official mining equipment manufactures and official online stores. If there is no stock in those sites, you are better off keeping the money to yourself, or you will lose it to scammers Here is the domain data about the site

60k is peanuts, to make direct orders from the manufacturer you will need at least 60m. OP, let me know what type of mining gears are you looking for and I will recommend someone.

I only buy on eBay or Amazon.  They can handle complaint and take money back from seller's account or chase money back.

The best way to buy a mining setup is to contact a card provider. For example to zotak, asus, gigabyte or MSI etc. They either have their agency branches listed on their websites or you can contact them via their contact details and ask them that from where can you buy their product. They will give you the contact of their agency in your country and you can buy from them. They have their agency all over the world. Who do not scam and if they scam you complaint against them on their website. They will do a penalty to the agency. The agency are third party who have business deal with these companies.

to add to what Bitcoin_Arena said At least check when the website was setup! Hopefully you will also be VERY wary of resellers 'endorsed' by a newbie's 1st and so far only post. Ya know, like the one above from pgranados...

Be careful OP Here is an example of a scam site being advertised by a newbie If you read almost all review sites. All people are complaining of getting scammed. 1. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/shop.antminer.hk 2. https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/shop.antminer.hk 3. https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/shop-antminer-hk

I've reported that garbage as spam, hope it gets deleted, but there is something else fishy about that website on top of what Bitcoin_Arena posted Whois data shows 2019 as the registration date but I've seen it mentioned here on bitcointalk in 2018, so, dropped the domain again like in another case a week ago just refurbished for scamming. Not saying that the first one was a legit one, just adding another warning that old domain names or some good reputation for 5- 6 years ago means nothing sometimes. Yeah, too bad we're on the Bitcoin section where we discuss bitcoin mining and none of those guys produce Asics which are needed to mine bitcoin.

As a mining equipment supplier in China (not ad), if you are trading for the first time, I suggest you to buy mining machines on Alibaba/Newegg/Amazon. Of course it will be about 20% more expensive on these sites, but it is definitely not a scam. As for direct purchase on the factory website, we may not be able to buy it even we are in China. Our company has direct cooperation with Antminer and Whatsminer, but we may not be able to get it.
