I really enjoy this forum, but I’m curious if anyone knows of other chat groups where the conversation is genuine and not overrun with scams. Seems like most groups I check out these days are just packed with spam and nonsense that I just don’t care about. I’m on the hunt for traders who are like-minded instead of all the spammers.

That is because, like a trading signal group or a chat group, anyway there are plenty of them, but the problem is how good and helpful are those discussions and at what point the topics on that group reflect and influence your trading decisions and what level the result favours you ars a trader. What I am saying is that, trading is looking a lone walker path to success and it only you the individual involved that knows how best to design your trading pattern and skills to work with you own trading environment and results into success.

LOL yea, it's a sad state. It's either dead or that, most of the time. I think the best course is to slowly foster a private community or if you can find one whose folks are willing to let you in. Public chat groups tend to be filled with such things because they are so accessible. Additionally, if the chat is not from a known official project or service, there's a good chance mods are on a volunteer basis so we can't expect them to be super hands-on.

I'm looking for such group too and one of the easiest ways to get on a group like that is via paid option and even at that, it's still hard to know if such group exists even if you're willing to pay or buy the nft to unlock access. But if you want it, you need to go on CT and interact + network with a lot of likeminded folks. The goal isn't to just act like a leech to get info from them but network enough to be friends with them and who knows, you can meet some awesome people and start your own private community together.

I joined a couple of groups that started out well initially, but then after some time you start seeing spammers and things get out of control, especially when it comes to telegram and discord.  Then there are also group owners who end up getting greedy. They create more subscription based VIP groups just to milk the shit out of newbies. I always lose interest and exit when I see such developments CT is the best place to start from, especially those Spaces. Good place to discuss crypto from. There's one guy (Twitter space host) that I know who has been consistent from the time of the bear market, but I don't want to shill him here. If you search crypto spaces daily, you might land on him.

I'm still not convinced that skilled market analysts have enough time and will to give free advice to unknown people on the Internet. Even if it is a paid subscription, I still think that I can charge for my good market analysis better if they apply it themselves.

I hear you. Indeed, if someone is making a kill from trading. I don't think they would have time to teach random strangers on the internet about their successful strategies, even if it were to be paid for. This particular space I used to participate in was just majorly a group of traders discussing the market, news, what positions they entered, what profits or losses they made etc. and not necessarily giving people any signals or shilling any shitcoins. In fact, if anyone decided to shill any shitcoin in there, they would get kicked out immediately.

some people in twitter gives out signal and market analysis for engagement, since you can get paid by twitter from farming engagement plenty of people has been consistently making an account and sharing insights about the market so I think it's not unreasonable at all, it's just we need to be smart enough to distinguish people who LARP and people who actually have genuine skill and genuine insight without ulterior motive to profit off us as their exit liquidity.

You already discovered big fact about chat groups which are pump and dump signal groups, full of spammers, impersonators and I doubt that you can learn anything good from these chat groups. By engaging in those groups, you are exposed yourself to more risks like phishing links, malicious files and more. It's better if you choose a safe preventive approach by exit those groups and don't join them in future. If you want to learn, learn from available free resources, online and in static format like websites, documents. You can easily find what you want to learn with them, but you can not have the same experience in chat groups that are full of spams. Awesome crypto trading. Learn crypto trading. What's difference between Stop-order and Stop-limit order? Trading is risky and trading in cryptocurrency market is more risky, make sure you use either Stop loss order or Stop limit order to protect your trading capital.

Here is the best place to find good discussion about trading than any other place you might think of because Bitcointalk forum filters out the scammer/spammers here even as we know that scam is not moderated but higher rank members can easily spot them out with by either giving them tags for you to know whom you are dealing with. Aside that, spammers are also easily spotted out as well and there are also punishment for them where either becoming ban or tags, depending on their level of spam and shitposting. So, you can bring your heart to search through this sections about what you needs in trading, because joining some irreverent group would always ends you being scammed or receiving an unsolicited pm from uncalled users who is always interested to device a means to scam you.

This is because trading is not as easy as you think and only few people have the skills to make profit and the rest that claim to be traders have zero knowledge on trading. Those that fall in the former will be difficult to meet or have access to but those that fall in the latter are everywhere to scam people who are eager to make quick profit from trading. My younger brother's friend was lucky to have someone who directs him on when to open position in the market, and he is making little profits. I prefer to learn on my own and come up with my won strategy.

There are just people who are like that (over proud of their selves) that thinks they can do anything easily and then some only got a motivation from those false people or advertisements that they see. I think you got a point when you say that those who claim something has actually have a zero knowledge because if you already have a genuine knowledge about it, you will only usually focus on it and you still can make a living. There might still be a few left who are genuine though and only sincere to help other people. If you are a former or those who don't have a good skill, it does not mean that you will stay like that. There is still a chance if you will only do some tweaking in your routine. For the latter, I think some can also change.

I do not advise you to join any chat groups related to trading, whether on social media or messaging apps and even paid groups on Telegram. It is impossible to find any communities free of scammers who will target you and the rest of the members with fake links, fraudulent trading sites, and incorrect signals. I advise you not to talk to strangers about trading if you do not have enough experience to identify the accuracy of what they write and point out and recognize scammers and their methods. Why do you need to talk in groups when you are in the right place designated for that? Also, why would you want to speak with people whose expertise in trading you don't even know? I do not see any benefit in that, unlike learning and gaining the necessary knowledge through trusted resources like books, courses, and reviewing the discussion topics here. You only have to use the search button at the top of the forum.

"I love Bitcoin Forum" - wrote a Newbie who left 1 message on Bitcointalk) I think you will find a lot of useful trading information here if you take the time to study this forum. I am sure that there will be much less spam and scam here, which means your deposit will be safe.

Trading relates to money, it is serious thing, and I don't find anything cool with trading. There is no "cool trading groups" in my opinion, because I am seriously with my money, not look for cool things to lose my money easily. I am very carefully with my money, and the less people know that I am a Bitcoin investor or a cryptocurrency trader, the more safety I have. I will have less curious eyes on me physically and my devices, accounts, wallets will have less risks of hacks. Joining trading groups or other groups, will only increase risk of exposing and interacting with many phishing links, malicious files, animated gif, and scammers. I don't want all these threats that can infect my devices, and steal my bitcoins.

That is why you have to spend more time in this trading discussion section, because there are a lot of trading discussion that is happening in this forum that will make you to have the knowledge of trading and it will be easy for you to identify scammers whenever you are ready to trade your coins. There are scammers everywhere which you need to have the knowledge to know the type of people you are trading with in the market, because if you trade with scammers it will make you to lose your income, because they always look for way to thief from traders in the market. I know you have visited some groups on social media to learn trading strategies, because there are many scam group on social media which scammers are using to make funds from people by telling them to pay some fees before they can join the groups which is not useful for crypto traders.

No lies about the uncertainty with joining groups with people you do not know these days, especially when the ongoing discussions are discussions that can earn you money. Since it will be difficult to trust any of these groups that you did not start, start your own, so you can vet the people who join the group and be sure to an extent about their intentions. With you also as admin, you will be able to maintain and keep discussions clean and free from any sort of dubious scheme any person in the group may want to start.

Sorry, my friend, but I'm afraid that you will never find such a totally sane trading group, trading is not as formal as that and even the admins of the groups allow enough shit discussions, so you are on your own. However, if I must advise you, you might still ignore the bullshit they say and embrace the good ones, but if that group is more of nonsense and not trading-incline, it's time you leave. You may also want to try the comment page of important websites/platforms as well, it operates like a social media group too. You may try Investing.com and Babypips.com. Just locate your desired asset and find the comment section.

Trading groups that don't have spammers are usually private or VIP groups you have to subscribe to, if you are looking for an open group then of course it will be more spammers... because several times joining a trading discussion in one of the public groups spammers are always there they like to spread unclear links, so I avoid it. Most of the owners of trade discussion chats nowadays are looking to make a profit there, they charge a fee to join the VIP, which is really annoying. When solana memecoins were hype, there were so many VIP memecoin groups that you had to pay to join. It's better to avoid this kind of thing.

They will just fall unto that things so maybe better for him to stay away seeking for such group like that since instead of getting those things what he wanted, he might fall on the hands of scammers which is seeking innocent victims to fool on their promises also other things they used to attract these people. To avoid paying unnecessary fee or faced any scam related matters on trading scene, maybe more better for them just to ask questions in this section since this one is dedicated to any trading discussions. For sure they won't any get any shady suggestion and also they can get multiple opinions that can help them to decide which is better and bad for their upcoming trades.
