My buddy's on the hunt for an Asic miner, specifically the Avalon Q with 90TH, but the prices I'm seeing seem a bit sketchy. I've reached out to a few people, and they're saying it's only $300, which feels way too low for that kind of hardware.
I wanna explore this a bit more, so can anyone point me to some trustworthy sources where I can verify a more realistic price for this miner? It's 2026, and I really don’t want us to fall for a scam.
Appreciate it!

https://www.canaan.io/avalonhome is the official Canaan site and yes $300 is far to cheap.

here is a USA seller that is a good seller
https://altairtech.io/product/avalon-q/
1499 price
also on ebay no one is cheaper than
1450 and they are used.
So anything under 1000 would be far too cheap.
300 is a joke
In Russia, the Avalon Q 90T costs $1,200-$1,300 from a reputable supplier. Prices for used ASICs don't drop much.
You're most likely being scammed; find miners in your country and ask them about reputable equipment suppliers.
You can buy cheaper from resellers than from the official website.
