Hey there, I'm not a miner, but I'm part owner of a solar farm that produces over 25 megawatts of energy yearly. I'm curious if there's a demand for this kind of energy in the mining scene. I'm not super knowledgeable about what it takes to run a mining operation, but I feel like having access to this power could give me an edge. There's no fiber optic line on the property right now, but it's less than 2 kilometers away from the closest one. That is a very loose and meaningless value you have given. As part owner you should know that the relevant specs needed are:
Output with full sun. That will be spec'd in watts, kilowatts, or megawatts with no time units involved.
Using that output number, when applied to a loose standard average of 5.5 hours of usable sun per-day you will get the total kWH or MWH produced per day.
One can multiply that by 365 to get the total kWH or MWH produced per-year but daily output is what matters. What is the daily output?
Is it tied to the grid so miners can run 24x7x365? If not you will get very little interest.

So it's probably at absolute best, a 12kW solar setup, that averages 5.5 hrs of power a day x 365 days.
i.e. what anyone can put in at home for $15k-$25k on grid.
Let's go with the assumption that he missed the word "hour" in his 25 megawatts, which will be 25000KwH a year, or 68.5Khw a day, so that's a 13.7KW solar system with an average of 5 sun hrs a day.
If he really means 25 megawatts solar system (as in, he mistakenly added the word "year") then I'll call b.s.

If it's 25MWH/year then as Kano said it's about the size of a typical home installation. 12-14KW output is not worth diddly squat for hosting miners

Yeah, just add more confusion to it, but then he adds another line:
It's late, it's Friday, there are a lot of zeros there but I think even fresh I would have no idea how a 25MW solar facility could generate 175 GWh a year. And yeah, somebody who produces 175 GWh year won't be making these mistakes.

the array buysolar and i run is 100kwatt array per hour in full sun
or 5x100= 500kwatts a day. we average 5 full hours of sun a day.
it is around 500 panels 220 watts each on an acre
so 175,000,000/365 = 350,000 kwatts a day
so 70,000 x the size of our array , okay make it that it is 440 watt panels that is 35,000 x the size of our one acre array
I do not think he has a 35000 acre array.
He could be an investor and not know his numbers well.
I do not know of any array using 35,000 acres anywhere in the world.
that would be 141 sq kilometers.

Edit much later: I should have pointed out that if you zoom out a bit, you'll see the double panda at that location, south of it a smaller farm, west of the pandas a larger farm than the double pandas, and below the larger one, another farm.
That really is a large area of solar panels there. Guestimating using the scale, it all looks like it's over 2million square meters = about 500 acres
So if 50MW = about 250 acres as they stated in the forbes link, 500 acres would be around 100MW
Actully miners or any trader or businessman doesnt care about its green or not. They only cares is it cheap or not? If green energy can provide money savings in long term why not but i dont think anyone who wants to buy green energy just because its green specially if he knows its not cheap!

This is a sad reality. Nobody seems to care about the conditions we are creating for us to live in. What is the purpose of all this wealth if it comes at the cost of good living conditions?
can you give details about price/location ?
Don't forget to mention that to all the banks that have been running for the past 100 years or so ...
It will definitely be much cheaper to use a mining farm through solar panels, in fact you have a huge advantage, I am sure that if you do this with your access to electricity, then your income will grow at least 50% in relation to other miners ... it will also be possible, of course, to attract new miners to your solar station ...
