Hey guys,
What’s the best place to set up a crypto prop trading business?
I checked out Dubai, but man, it’s pricey around 10k yearly.
Anyone got any recommendations?
Hit me up!
I think if you want less compromise on legal aspect then just open it up on Dubai, its an open country which support crypto and doesnt have strict regulations on it. By any chance you find on other countries, probably your problem will be tied up to legal matter. How about those country that support crypto or bitcoin like El salvador?
I don't know much about countries more suitable to start a prop firm. I trade with CFT which is a crypto prop firm and I think they are registered in poland or Switzerland or a country with similar origins. Don't forget to share your prop firm with the btt community when it goes live.
What are the fees for.
Is it just business registration fees?
Or a license to operate a cryptocurrency business in Dubai?
Or something else entirely?
I guess most companies literally make enough profit to afford these kids of fees and also the other extravagant prices faced by Dubai businesses. Like I imagine rent is expensive as well.
Especially for colocated office space. And participating in expos.
Well a good thought though but looking at Dubai that things are quite expensive would be challenging Abit for you for the start and thus at the first instance you may not be able to make profit but with time you will, but then I'll advice you look out to other countries that is a way legal for registering a crypto prop trading firm.
On this note, i will also support that you make use of Dubai your preferred choice due to the way they have been allowing for cryptocurrency activities on fair regulation, you can also consider the region for a better prospect, because there is high opportunity of getting interested traders who could come onboard for a patronage into your service about what you offer, another consideration could be USA or Canada, where i think you can also have the opportunity of engaging traders and the regulations may be challenging a little unlike that of Dubai, but you could get a pretty number of subscribers.
I am pretty sure it will all be virtual. I dont think he will actually open an office and have traders come down and trade 12 hours a day. They did that back in the 90s or early 2000s but now they are all done from home.
Many of these people who work for prop firms don't do it fulltime anyways. They might be a stay a home parent and do it while they got some spare time. So he wont be actually paying any rent. Its more like licensing fees and such.
Do you need to worry about the jurisdiction of the prop firm? I guess not. You should rather worry about the integrity and good service of the firm. My advice to you is to go for the most popular ones with a track record. You can do your own research on that. I am sure you will see the ones that fit the criterion of quality service and that also offer cheap fees.
