Hey everyone, Looks like we don't have to pick between power and quiet anymore at our desks. I'm excited to share the launch of the Magicminer WM02, a completely new take on the home mining experience. This is more than just a mini miner; it’s a self-sustaining energy system that can sit right under your coffee cup. 1. The Power: 150W and 7 TH/s When you think of a "desk gadget," it’s easy to picture some flimsy toy. But the WM02 is the real deal. Engineering Wonder: We’ve fine-tuned our next-gen ASIC chips to deliver an impressive 7 TH/s (±5%) stable SHA-256 (Bitcoin/BCH) hashrate. Efficiency King: And we achieve this with just 150W (±10%) of power usage. That means you're looking at about 21.4 J/TH efficiency, which is a new high for desktop miners. Handy rewards without needing a full server setup. 2. The Fusion: 55°C Passive Heating + Quiet Operation The 150W the SHA-256 algorithm uses isn’t just wasted energy. Perfect Thermal Link: We designed the ASIC to maintain a steady 55°C (131°F) surface temperature. So whether you have a ceramic, glass, or metal cup, your WM02 will keep your drink at the perfect warmth. Silent Cooling: To manage the 150W while keeping it low-key in your office, we built a high-airflow, quiet cooling system. The fan produces a soft, low-frequency noise that blends right into the background of a typical workspace.

Seems interesting and great to see more gear at the ''home selection". But how do you answer the question as ancient as the first Avalon miners....: How do you prove that this is not just vaporware gear?

150W / 7TH/s = 21.4J/TH Umm that's pretty much desk toy performance. Old Gekko single chip A1 USB's do >800GH/s for 15W = a better 18.75J/TH My S21 358T Hydros do a much better 16.55J/TH and they're not the latest and greatest. So you're not even matching recent performance levels.

Spot on. The s21xp's I own do about 13 watts a th.  in fact if the weather is cold they drop under 12 watts a th. 21 or 22 watts a th is simply not much to talk about.
