Hey everyone, not sure if my project is already doomed since I might’ve overlooked some issues... but here it goes... So here’s the deal: we’re working on electric motorbikes, and we’ve got a special limited edition for Bitcoin only 21 bikes, one for each country (more to come soon, hopefully). Now these bikes need chargers, right? We’re also setting up battery swapping stations for charging. The cool part? We’re planning to integrate Bitcoin mining into this whole setup, so it’s like mining while charging your bike: - Charging/Swapping stations: You take the battery out of your bike, grab a new one, and pop it in. While you do that, the empty battery gets charged and can be used later by someone else. These stations will run on solar power, and any extra electricity will go towards Bitcoin mining. They’ll also have a SIM-router and a few smaller miners (still deciding which ones). The earnings will go into a wallet, and every six months, we’ll split the profits (after costs) with bike owners. The more you ride, the more you earn. - Home charging station: Also solar powered, and just like the other ones, any extra energy will be used for mining Bitcoin. This station is yours, but we handle the mining part. Earnings go into a shared wallet and will be divided based on your share. You can chill while we upgrade the mining gear for free if we get something better. But here’s my question: does anyone know where I can still get Gekko's Pod-Miners or Gekko's USB-Stick Miners? Or is there a new product coming out from any manufacturer? Appreciate any advice or thoughts.

The Apollo BTC from FutureBit is probably the best miner for you: You can buy it from the manufacturer: https://www.futurebit.io Not sure how much power you can generate, but you can tune the Apollo to require less than 100W of power, and still get a reasonable hashing rate of around 1-2TH/s. It's small and compact, and it comes with everything you need (fan, and power supply) There are also the Compac F which are great USB sticks and require very little power (12W for about 300GH/s), but they're very expensive compared to the Apollo (per TH/s) and also you need to buy fans and special USB hubs that provide at least 2.4A per port, etc. Any other miner is either too old and produces way too few hashes, or they require thousands of Watts to operate (plus they're extremely loud).

Hello. I run GekkoScience. If you'd like to talk miners (or electric vehicles), drop me a PM.
