Hey guys. I’m currently using FixedPaul’s version of Vanitysearch, and you can find it here: https://github.com/FixedPaul/VanitySearch.
So far, it’s working great, but I’m kinda worried about how random the initial point is for each search. If the code isn’t designed to start at a truly random point and just starts from the beginning, how can I change that?
Also, I want to tweak the base key changing to something quicker than every 4611686018427387904 keys, since at that rate, it’ll take about 48 years with my setup to see any changes.
Here’s what my command window is showing right now:
vanitysearch.exe -gpu -t 0 1Love747
VanitySearch v2.0 by FixedPaul

Number of CPU thread: 0
GPU: GPU #0 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (46x128 cores) Grid(5888x256)
[3431.00 Mkey/s][GPU 3431.00 Mkey/s][Total 2^40.05][Prob 72.3%][80% in 00:01:24][Found 0]
I’d really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
