Most altcoins are basically worthless

People are starting to see that a lot of these altcoins have no real value, and honestly, some of the promoters could care less about actually building up their projects.

Yes, this is the root cause of the current market decline. The market has recovered its ideal and people no longer blindly buy shit coin. They are beginning to understand whether this project is a good project.

Based on that most of these coins won’t go up to the highs they have seen before.

Most Alt are worth zero because team are not updating those coins and are not interested anymore after launch There are lot of such coins and buyer need to check team before investment. Team head person is important because if he is serious then he will not stop project.

It happened because the project fails. No one buys during their ICO or what so ever, with that how to do you expect the alt to have development when there is no fund to use. This is mostly happening for the half-assed project that the only aim is to scam other people.

There are many scam project in the market .so scam project down to market   If the price goes down, crypto looks less attractive, so the price goes down more. Probably better several exchanges remove the coin that is not worth it anymore so that development of several new higher quality coins. Put the project and do buyback and after  few times we see progress. Let them innovate after the buyback. Besides the project the coin scam of coins that aren't valuable much from airdrop result.

exactly the reason as to why its advisable to research well before investing, look at the history and the background of the developers, experienced developers understand the market needs and are most likely to come up with  project that address a need and therefore valuable in the market

Yep, most of coins doesn't really have intrinsic value. Some ICO just made a hype for a promise of working product but there's no product. They just want your money. Like most expert says only coins or tokens 1-5% will survive in the long run. Those that has real use in the world and those that captures value. Look what happened at dot com bubble only few of them survived and now they are the biggest technology companies today. Same fate will happened to blockchain based coin or tokens.

Most new altcoins and those which dont have any clear vision or there is no proper and continuous development program they are worthless.Developer hyped them to so extremely level that they generated a lot of funds and did nothing to further promote that coin,they are existing just as a hype and nothing else and soon all these shit coin will die by themselves.Market is red and these shit coins dropped to very low level and they would never increase to previous level.

Most of this altcoins are scams but one of the possibility why a certain coin has a small value per coin is because it has a large number of circulating supply.

This is true for many of the coins.  There is no need to have multiple coins that accomplish the same thing.  Only time will show the real winners.

The time passed when the coins were small and everyone believed blindly, now everyone is already smart and choose the cream of the market, although sometimes they make mistakes without it. Shitcoins and scammers do not stand still either.

Yes, "most". Some are definitely worth something. Most are scams or tokens with massive supply and a project that isn't being released until 2065. ETH has a nice blockchain to ride on with fast block times, smart contracts, etc. ZEC has a small supply and hidden transactions. LUN is hosting the next wikipedia in the blockchain. STEEM hosts images in the blockchain. etc etc But most do have a worthless whitepaper and only grew in value due to BTC rise, as BTC is the core of all coins.

That's why it's better to invest in most coins that have a vivid mission and be updated on the project if its really progressing, since after their ICO there should always have a development.
