So, my transaction ID is 1659996b0fb053a589b88a0e005b4c54ef22bc0f451e2dcf3c14437877d70de9 and it's been pending for 26 days now. I tried using BTCnitro.com to speed things up, but it didn’t work out (they didn't refund me as promised, so just avoid that). Is there anyone who can help me get this transaction confirmed or at least get my BTC back into my wallet so I can try again? I sent it using Viawallet, and the viabtc accelerator is way too pricey, over $400, so that's out of the question. Oh, and another weird thing is I sent 0.08478975 BTC, but now it shows only 0.07618310 on the explorer.

The transaction fee rate of 11sat/vbyte which is $4 for transaction fee is way too low. The transaction fee will have been ok but those inputs are way too much to get it past through. Also the wallet you’re sending from doesn’t support any means of bumping transaction and it seems they are rebroadcasting the transaction again. If you have private keys to the receiving address I will advice you import it to maybe you electrum wallet if there is funds there you do CPFP. The transaction doesn’t looks like something that will drop now. Also i just check the mempool.space accelerator too it is expensive too around $21, if it’s ok by you try it. But do not use any accelerator apart from this and viabtc i think they just take your money and rebroadcast transaction only Also the total receiving amount is still 0.08478975 and not 0.07628310 has you have said

Your transaction will not get confirmed and it will probably drop from nodes in some weeks. I suggest that you use the accelerator from mempool.space,  as you didn't use RBF (replace by fee). You will have to pay to get it confirmed. I never used this service,  but this site is legit https://mempool.space/en/tx/1659996b0fb053a589b88a0e005b4c54ef22bc0f451e2dcf3c14437877d70de9

The fee rate used for your transaction is below the purging fee rate for any node with default mempool size. Therefore, there are many nodes that don't have your transaction in their mempool now. Import your wallet to electrum. There's a change you don't see your unconfirmed transaction and you can make a new one. If you see your transaction in electrum, try connecting to different servers until you find a one that doesn't have your transaction. Once you connect to a node that doesn't have your transaction, your transaction status will change to local and you can remove it from your wallet using right-click menu and then make a new one. Download electrum only from its official website.

You can pay directly to a mineer using mempool.space accelerate button. Or you can try hosseinimr93 suggestion, which may work if your transaction is already dropped from most nodes.

What you’re looking at is a single address which has a total of 0.07628310 but there are other two addresses that makes the accumulation to be 0.08478975 you can check the transaction hash https://mempool.space/tx/1659996b0fb053a589b88a0e005b4c54ef22bc0f451e2dcf3c14437877d70de9.

No exp using Viawallet. But cant you just increase the TX fee in the wallet you using? Many wallets have a option like that and the wallet I using got it. For next time check https://mempool.space/ before sending the TX and don't be Cheap Charlie. Good luck mate!   Thanks  @jrrsparkles @hosseinimr93 for clarifying.

OP's transaction has not been flagged as RBF which means that's not supported by ViaWallet and there shouldn't be any option to increase the fee in the wallet. Of course, as I said in my previous post, there are many nodes that have dropped OP's transaction from their mempool and should accept a new transaction with the same inputs.

Unfortunately, the TX isn't RBF and still, not a lot of wallets implemented the RBF feature so it's not a big surprise also the fee estimators on the wallet app suck so OP unknowingly send the funds without realizing the mempool status, and trusted the wallet suggested fee. But the good thing is Viawallet provides private keys that can be used to import in electrum like wallet and make new transactions with the fee required at that time once nodes drop this transaction from mempool.

Many nodes have already dropped OP's transaction from their mempool. At the time I am writing this post, according to mempool.space, the purging fee rate is 15 sat/vbyte. This means that any transaction with the fee rate of less than 15 sat/vbyte is purged from mempool of any node with default mempool size.

Good to know that, but did you use the right fee this time so that the transaction won't get stuck like before? TX fees keep climbing up along with the price of bitcoin so now again the network is highly congested and fee required becomes crazy compared to last week's mempool status.

That's $90 in fees for less than 1 kB For future reading: my topic on consolidating inputs and transaction fees. Using Segwit also helps.

Verify the Electrum wallet too. [GUIDE] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum. In Electrum wallet, there are three options to choose fee rate when broadcasting a transaction [3]. I would like to use Mempools but still have to double check it with mempool observing websites like [1, 2] and don't totally rely on information from Electrum wallet. I looked for your TXID in our refund requests and I don't see it there. Did you actually request it? If so - feel free to reach out to us again and I'll see that it gets resolved.
