Hey everyone
I recently made the switch from AntMiners to WhatsMiners (M30, M50). Honestly, if it wasn’t for this forum and PlebMiners, I wouldn’t have been able to maximize their performance and keep them running well.
Here’s the problem:
WhatsMiners have way more complaints than AntMiners, especially when it comes to ambient temps and PSU temps. Seems like they have extra sensors too. And man, their user interface is super slow, the software is only for Windows, and it’s not winning any beauty contests. Like seriously, why is it so sluggish?
My miners often halt due to a ton of errors, and I really wanted to know exactly when and why that happened. So, over the weekend, I threw together some code and created an observability tool using the regular API on port 4028 and included some Prometheus exports, which were much needed.

Now I’m looking for help from both programmers and non-programmers. If anyone has an M60, I’d love to get the JSON dumps from the API. Also, if you’re using an API version other than 1.4 or 2.1, I would appreciate having that too so I can make my parser better.
Right now, the tool just monitors your miner via the public API it doesn’t send any commands. But it would be cool to get it working with their writable API also.
Just to reiterate: IT IS FOSS (FREE AND OPEN SOURCE), which means it won’t take your coins it literally can’t. You can audit it yourself. I’ve even hosted it on my own GitHub, etc. Basically, I’m looking for help and contributions.
I’ve shared the software in some mining groups.
