Hey folks, I’m planning to create a Windows desktop app and I need some real input before diving into it. So here’s the idea: It’s a tool for anyone who stores their coins in a cold wallet (you know, offline). You’ll have to confirm via 2FA, kind of like Google Authenticator, before any transactions can go out. No code means no sending. Cold storage keeps your keys safe, but if someone gets into your PC, they might try to send a transaction without that second factor. This adds an extra layer of security. Here’s the plan: 1. Start with Bitcoin as the first step. 2. Same idea for other UTXO-based coins later, like Litecoin, Dogecoin, and others, depending on interest. 3. It will work with your current wallet setup, not replace it or hold your coins. 4. Easy setup when you first launch it. 5. You’ll see transaction details before entering the 2FA (amount, address, fee). If you use cold storage If you want 2FA for every send If you have BTC, LTC, DOGE, or are thinking about getting them This isn’t a new coin or an exchange, just an added security layer. If this idea is silly or there’s already a better solution, let me know. Poll (just reply with the numbers): Interested? Yes / Probably / Neutral / No How relevant is this for you right now? Very / Somewhat / Haven't thought about it / Not relevant Do you use cold storage? Yes / No / Planning to Would 2FA before any cold-wallet send be helpful? Yes / Nice to have / Don't need it Would you use this if it’s easy to set up? Yes / Probably / Unsure / No What coins & wallets do you use? (free text: BTC/LTC/DOGE, Core, Electrum, etc.) Thanks just trying to see if there’s real interest before we get to work.
