You can check out the Whatsminer M21 for pre-order at a price of $850 right now. They’re set to ship out in August.

Seems to be a little better then an m10 m10's did 2200-2300  and 31th m21  will do 1860 and 31th so 2300/31000 = 74 watts a th  give or take a bit m10 vs 1860/31000 = 60 watts a th  m21 price is a bit high but it could be a good unit on a downclock.

The build design is looking a lot like the M3X.

I'd love to order some, but that 4 month wait time is way way way too long. Like 3 months too long. I'd rather wait for the next round of S17's to be made available for order.

Well I'm just lost in the latest offerings. I'm curious what happened to the 48TH M20 demo unit option. This one seems to come out of left field, as it wasn't part of the 3 options they had available. That is unless they made some sacrifices in power to try and create a lower cost miner. This would have been a contender for me at this price as I don't get hit as hard as you guys for taxes/tarrifs. Agreed though the wait time is just to long when you know there will be offerings with better delivery times in that period

I'm with you.  These multi month pre order timelines are killer.  I get it and know it's a business for them and preorders are a thing of the norm, but 4 months is just too long in crypto to figure out if it's worth it to buy or not.

But Americans have a problem with this, don't they? Why didn't Pangolin lower it to $799? Well i guess it costs the same as the M10 but is a little more efficient, but not as nice as the M20S. I was thinking an M20S with two or one board would do the trick instead...

I would buy one a week if they shipped ASAP. But at this point I am waiting on their gear as I am not buying any s17 or t17 direct from bitmain. Maybe a used one in a few months from a forum member but frankly bitmain is not getting my coin.

Yea, $799 might increase single orders, still three month wait is rough no matter the cost of a pre order.

yeah long waits are tough.  But what can you do?  I am hoping for the m20 demo to come between may 10 and may 20 as promised. I can then decide what to get.  a lot of m20's or a mix of m20s and m21s I have resisted any s17 or t17 purchases and have ordered just the one m20 demo. very hard to do this just wait for the m20

But the M20s has a great efficiency, that we are waiting for you to confirm with your review to us. So whats is this about an M21s? Is it the same efficiency as the M20s but smaller? The "plain" M21 is 60t/w vs 48ish the M20s promises. I don't think the Bitmain miners are worth it at least while new (overpriced), especially now that they won't let you ssh into them... Later, perhaps with lower prices, and better news about getting back into ssh, maybe. But with MicroBT at least you don't have to worry about that, and you can probably squeeze it a bit more efficiency something you wouldn't be able to do with the crippled Bitmain units.
