Hey everyone, I'm trying to flash my S17+ back to the original firmware. I followed a guide I found here, but it’s for an S9. They mentioned getting multiple files after unzipping the firmware from the Bitmain site. However, when I download the firmware, I only get this one TAR GZ file. Do I just need to move this single file onto an SD card (after formatting it to FAT 32) and stick it into my miner? This feels off since most tutorials I've seen show zip files with multiple files inside. Has anyone done this before and can share some tips? Also, I want to go back to factory firmware because I can't connect my miner to the internet right now. I can get its IP address by pressing the reporter button, but the LED is solid red on the back, showing a fault. This seems like my only option. Thanks for any help!

The firmware tar.gz is the firmware that you can only use for firmware upgrade through the browser and you can't use it for SD card flashing. If you want to flash it through an SD card you need to download the right firmware for SD card flashing. Check this guide S17/S17Pro/S9 SE/S9k/Z11 control board program recovery Then download the firmware here https://shop.bitmain.com/support/download?archivesId=00720160119094319010Sw6KAwpN06B7&type=0
