Hey guys, I’m sharing this "reset" gadget designed for automatically resetting cryptocurrency miners (GPU) that work with a PC motherboard. You can also use it in any situation where a PC motherboard has pins for the power switch. How it works: - It runs a program that checks if a suitable host is available on your local network using a PING command. If there's no response, it triggers a sequence that powers the computer or server on and off. - The server needs to be connected to the network via the RJ45 port to the local switch. - You also connect the server using a low-voltage 2-wire cable (like a phone line). One end goes to a relay module and the other end connects directly to the motherboard pins. - Users can configure the reseter's settings through a website. For more details, check this Kickstarter link.

There are a bunch of devices out there that will do something like that by power cycling incoming voltage: http://www.digital-loggers.com/lpc.html There are a bunch of data center PDUs that can be hooked up to monitoring software that will check on multiple devices and do the same thing. What is nice about using the PDU / power line reboot is that you can use it to reboot just about any miner out there. Normally, I would say move this to the AltCoin mining section, but since the merge GPU mining has gone to shit, so perhaps changing the product to accommodate high voltage / amperage devices would be better. -Dave

my device has much more possibilities to control the events of the relay short-circuit length, the time interval between the reset, time restarts and many other settings that such strips do not have
