Hey everyone, I recently got my hands on one of the first batch of these miners. There was a bit of a shipping delay, but it wasn't Braiins' fault. They shipped it on December 13th, but it got stuck when DHL handed it over to my local shipping service. I finally received it yesterday and have it up and running, so I wanted to share my thoughts.
Packaging/Unboxing
The packaging was really solid. It arrived in a sturdy cardboard box with freight air bags to keep it safe during transit.
The miner's box was pretty simple but nice. Inside, I found everything I needed to get started, including the power brick and cable. They didn’t include a cable that fits my region, but it's just a standard C13 plug for the power brick, and I had a bunch of those lying around anyway. They even threw in some stickers, which aren't necessary but are a cool touch.
Setup/Running
When I plugged in the unit for the first time, the fan was running at full speed. I was a bit worried this was the normal speed, but it turns out it just defaults to max speed on startup. Setting it up was super easy with the included QR code, either through WiFi or ethernet, and once configured, it becomes totally silent at stock settings. The power consumption is around 30-34W for 1TH/s. While it’s not the most efficient miner considering its price, it’s still a pretty decent piece of hardware.
Dashboard/Configuration
The dashboard is nice; it shows all the info you need at a glance.

point it to viabtc.com
and set payout to 0.001
in around five years you will get 0.001
which is a pretty good dca move.
especially if it is plugged into a spot in the office where you work.
It's definitely one way to do it but honestly I'm just happy running it as a lottery miner

I have a few small miners doing a forever dca.
and I have a few doing ckpool.
Still waiting for my Q1 batch. Quality looks very good, interface too - regarding hashrate and price it is clear that it is probably more of a collector's item :-)
Yeah it is well built and very quiet if not silent... but yes, you're paying a premium for it. For a few hundred dollars though, oh well, I've wasted more money on less
Is the configuration interface a local web server or does it force you to connect to their remote servers?
