Today marks Satoshi Nakamoto's 51st birthday. His profile showed up on the p2p foundation way back on April 5, 1995. A bunch of big names in crypto are celebrating this day. We should definitely keep this tradition going every year, even if I started this thread just for some fun.

Bitcoin’s whitepaper was written in 2008. So, if someone was born in 1995, that would mean they were only about 12 or 13 years old when the Bitcoin blockchain concept was created. Are you sure this is the real birth date of Satoshi Nakamoto?

Since no one has ever seen Satoshi, it is also an estimate of when his birthday is. Perhaps the whitepaper or some other document shows Satoshi's birth date as April 5, 1975. Because of this, Satoshi turned 51 on this day. However, this is just the date mentioned in one of Satoshi's documents and may not be the exact date of birth. However, if you were born on April 5, 1975, then we at the Bitcoin Forum wish you a very happy birthday.

Where did you study mathematics and where did you go to school, born in 1995, 12-13 years old, I think you are wrong in your calculations. 1995-2026 results in 31 years. OP, whatever it is, I don't know what year Satoshi Nakamoto was born, whether it's his birthday today, the point is that he has created something valuable in this world regarding crypto currency, so that many people who don't understand crypto so they understand, in short, SatoshiNakamoto is one of the best digital heroes ever.

To this day, the most likely scenario about "his" identity is that it was a person or group in the CIA or NSA. That is the only explanation that is consistent with all of the facts as we know them. The other explanation, that he was just "some guy" who willfully turned his nose up at billions of dollars, simply isn't consistent with human nature. In particular, the fact that "Satoshi" never spent even a single coin would indicate that something was preventing him from doing so, and being part of the US government would perfectly explain that. Before "Satoshi" stopped posting, his holdings would have already been worth a lot of money and would have done so for a long time before that, so the idea that he simply died is also less plausible since it would make sense that he'd cash out at least a small portion of his holdings. Hence I suspect that there are at least a few US government employees that have a little chuckle at those statues and other Satoshi memorabilia.

Birthday wishes to a rare gem of our time. I know we might be wrong in picking 5th April as your birthday, and no amount of birthday wishes can make you reveal your identity to humanity. In other words to everything you have done, I am thanking you especially for giving humanity Bitcoin. Bitcoin that we can trust and have as a store of value for the future

Maybe the fictional birth date.  Because considering the level of Privacy Satoshi wanted to have, the dumbest thing he could ever do is insert his real birth date on his own profile.  The putting a mask on but writing your Full Name on your chest level of stupid.

Since Satoshi has remained annemouse ever since creating Bitcoin so it really ha d to know exactly how this person is, and the date that he was given birth to. What is important here is that we are talking about the birthday of a man that has created a value systems which has impacted life on a positive way. This is a time were we can remember the work of Satoshi, coming up with an idea like this which today alot of people across the world is benefitting from. At this point we should look beyond the personality behind Bitcoin but, we should take a deep breath and ask how self how we can be helpful to our environment and the world at large.
