Solo miner hits it big on SOLOCKPOOL with Black 925380

just scored with a full block while solo mining! check out the pic here.

Block 925380 is indeed tagged to solo.ckpool in the coinbase, and with the current subsidy + fees that's roughly a 3.17 BTC payday for whoever solved it. From the BitAxe crowd people are estimating the winning miner was sitting around 6 TH/s or so, which at today's difficulty is "you should statistically wait a few thousand years for a block". Some luck, indeed.

that reddit link is for a DigiByte block not Bitcoin DGB is a totally different coin with way lower difficulty so solo mining with a few TH/s actually makes sense there unlike BTC where you'd be waiting forever for a hit at that speed no shade though luck is luck wherever it lands

Just remember that mining equipment has a lifespan. Since this isn't professional server equipment, you should expect it to last several years.
