Looks like everyone is focused on Bitcoin right now. Because of that, BTC keeps hitting new all-time highs, but most altcoins (besides a few) are still struggling to even reach half of their previous highs. Maybe we’ll see an altcoin season after the BTC halving. That’s why a lot of people are still eager to grab altcoins. What do you guys think? Are you still picking up anything, or planning to wait until after the halving?

If you’re a dedicated crypto guy then you should always be buying, when you’re able to. Now is still a great time to add to your holdings. We are not even at the Bitcoin halving yet & traditionally the price of Bitcoin & most good altcoins rise exponentially after the halving so keep buying whilst you can get cheaper coins.

Agreed.  Continuing to dollar cost average and buy and you would be in profit at least for bitcoin.  But there is plenty of money to be made on alts if you know what you are doing.  I wouldn't recommend a large portion of your stack in alts but definitely worth putting some there.  Having an exit plan and sticking to it is important as well otherwise ypu get stuck holding a bag.

What I will say this is the best time to actually invest in altcoin is now, the dominance as you have already said is on bitcoin but it will definitely switch narrative. But one thing is clear in this bull run Bitcoin dominance will be higher than usually experienced over the years because of how many view bitcoin as a secure currency not just going to gamble on Altcoins. So if you have a favorite altcoin you can buy that now using the DCA method or risk waiting for bitcoin corrections as Altcoins will definitely follow it too, but the correction is something that is not guaranteed

Altcoins are not in a bad state to not consider investing, many Altcoins are still yet to follow the Bitcoin price growth or even for a little experience the influence of Bitcoin pump, much more is still expected from them to reach former all time high or set a new record unlike Ethereum which is extremely correlated with Bitcoin, close to setting a new all time high. Most people would prefer begin investing Altcoins in their portfolio which is the best thing to since like you made mention not certain how the Bitcoin correction would turn out.

Not all altcoins are good to buy now, as we are not in a bear market, there are altcoins that have skyrocketed like crazy, but the altcoins season has not yet arrived. However, there are altcoins experiencing corrections in their prices, offering good entry points for buying, so you can use technical analysis and charts for buying opportunities, as what I see is that there are good altcoins worth filling your wallet with, but enter in stages without investing all your capital at once, and keep stablecoins in your wallet. If corrections occur in the price of Bitcoin, you can buy at lower prices. Choose your altcoins that you will invest carefully, and patience in these times is the biggest factor in achieving profits.

I don't buy any altcoins just yet.  Bitcoin is sucking up all the air right now with its rally, leaving alts behind.  But you might have a point - after Bitcoin's halving, we could see an alt run.  History kind of shows that.  When Bitcoin makes big moves up, alts tend to follow along eventually.  Of course they can offer bigger returns potentially but also mean more risk versus Bitcoin.

I don't think there will be a special time or period for altcoins bull and if any altcoins that does not follow suit the trend now then it has to wait till next bull run again and that should be 2028 or 2029. And as I said earlier in a thread, don't invest in projects that does not follow the bull run when all the Cryptocurrencies are rising. Bitcoin there will no special time for that project to rise up. Look at Eloncoin which users were abusing anyhow too now it is rising everyday and it is very close  one dollar. If your are investing in altcoins understand the project before investing in it. So that you won't regret later. I have said this time without number.

I already got a plan on which altcoins I am going to buy before and after the halving. One of my factor is that a coin haven't gone into any ATH since it was launched and good thing that I am able to spot some of it and invested already a few of my bucks from them. I am not expecting like the others about memecoin that they're going to be 100x-1000x. 5x - 10x and quite more is already enough for me or even 2x-3x as long as I am in profit, that's what matter the most as an investor.

Currently, Bitcoin is constantly racing to new records in terms of value. While many altcoins have pumped around Bitcoin's price increase, there are many altcoins that have pumped mildly. Bitcoin will halve next month, if Bitcoin corrects around the Bitcoin halving then many altcoins may fall in price. Moreover, if we notice that the top alt coins during the bitcoin bullish period are following the path of bitcoin, those coins are far behind its past ATH. Personally I think it should take a little more time to get entry into altcoins. Whether to invest in altcoins is completely your personal decision, invest in altcoins with the thought of keeping your money safe in the future.

Having a plan for an altcoin bull run is very good. However, currently altcoins are on the rise. But you also need to remember that this is because Bitcoin continues to rise and make new ATHs. When the halving occurs, there will definitely be a period when Bitcoin will correct and at that time the altcoin will usually become a dump. although not all. Choose a coin that you think is good and that you have analyzed yourself. and don't be fomo and follow what people say. because when someone says something wrong, you will definitely blame them. better DWYOR

I have not been a fan of altcoins, and that why I don't usually buy them, even if all the media say it's a promising coin. Instead of diversifying my fund, I'll use it all to in est in Bitcoin, and ever since I started Bitcoin investment, I have no regret at all. Currently with the break of a new ATH, this is the greatest joy of every Bitcoin investor who has held his/her coins even in bearish seasons, and I don't think they'll also feel any regrets for having faith and holding dearly. However I don't think Bitcoin is done yet, there is still a possibility that it might rise to $80k before the halving, and after the halving we'll be getting another ATH. Though there are some coins that have been on the price movement of Bitcoin, Ethereum will also break it's own ATH but it might take a while.

buying altcoin is fine if its still far from All time high i think its pretty safe investment to be honest these coins are gonna be catching up eventually. if you remember, altcoin could literally double or triple or even more of its initial capital easily I think this is the thing with altcoin the sudden pump is crazy i remember render token is pumping so hard when i thought its not gonna increase same thing with JITO its also pumping though not as hard the good trait of altcoin that are fundamentally good they gonna just follow the trend but it sometime just take sometime until they are truly kicking off and then massively sky rocketing in term of price. if you wanna invest, then go ahead I think you haven't missed the pump yet but definitely don't take it as an advice you can be losing if things goes south personally i prefer buying when its really cheap because i don't want losing for nothing and need to wait again. so therefore i will not invest these days im enough and contend with current investment of mine no need to accumulate.

of course I'm still buying altcoins, because after the halving I'm sure there will be another altcoin season, so I won't waste this opportunity, just the previous session I was too late to buy altcoins for this season idont want late again .

I still do. Although they are just something I buy because the bull run is still going on. There are still cheaper ones that an investor could get thousands to millions of them with the investment so small.  Most altcoins are soaring already but I am aiming for the AI tokens since they are pumping, I'm hoping to make big profits from it. When there will be dumps right now on BTC, the rest of the altcoins will also be dragged down so a small investment might just be best to do than spending more on them. I am waiting for that dump to happen since we're already due.

some altcoins followed the trend that Bitcoin brought and it became a good growth for some altcoins. Maybe you should exclude those who are unable to keep up with the growth of Bitcoin and other altcoins from your purchasing plans. Currently, many are focusing on Bitcoin and several of the market's top altcoins. The situation will persist for a long time if Bitcoin does not go down quickly. The long-term effects of the bitcoin halving may occur gradually over a short period. but it could be very slow and take a long time to create the highest pump in history.

This is the right time to invest in altcoins as most of them are still below their ATH. Bitcoin is pumping and has already broken it's previous ATH. The main factor of its pump is the demand that has arisen due to ETFs. It is continuously driving the market but altcoins are not getting that kind of push. If you check two famous altcoins Ethereum and BNB they both are well below thier previous high. The same goes for other prominent altcoins and it is the right time to accumulate more.

Now is a good time to start investing in altcoins because Bitcoin is looking good to carry them along to a massive bull run in this season, top altcoins like Ethereum, are already gradually pumping and building up to their bull run. I believe that it's mostly undervalued altcoins that have not made any progress to pump now, so this is a good time to buy these undervalued projects, because of their reletively low price, so if they start to bull the investors will position themselves to take good returns on investment in the bull run.

Unless what happened in the pass may not happen in the future yes and it does work that way most times, altcoin bull run is expected to take please probably 6 months after Bitcoin halving, those altcoins struggling now might possibly be the ones that will multiple x after the halving and there low market cap now could just be an opportunity of buy at low and prepare for the bull run after halving, thinking about it after halving might just be a wrong approach.

Yes I am still buying alt coins to add to my portfolio. We do not want to put all of our investment in just 1 coin Bitcoin. It is better for us to diversify if we can find the right alts to invest in. We do know many alt coins follow the Bitcoin trend. When we are in a 'bull market' like now we see profits for most of the alt coins too. But for me it is only a couple I will keep a eye out for, Ethereum, BNB, Soloana, and Doge, and Cardano.
