So, testnet coins are basically free stuff for developers, but they don’t just appear out of thin air. The networks gotta keep producing blocks. Instead of manually topping up my faucet (CypherFaucet), I set up a pool to mine these coins and send the rewards back into the testnet faucets. This way, they just get recycled to developers for no cost. Here’s the scoop: It supports Bitcoin testnet4, Litecoin testnet, and Monero testnet + stagenet. We have PPLNS payouts, a dashboard, and a JSON API. I’m the one supplying most of the hashrate, but anyone can join in. If you mine here, you keep all your earnings; I only take the usual 2% pool fee, and that goes straight to the faucet, not in my pocket. For the less popular nets, I rent hashrate from MiningRigRentals to keep those blocks coming (like for Litecoin and Monero). But Bitcoin testnet4 has enough activity, so I don’t need to rent for that. I built it from scratch using pure Python, so there are no third-party libraries involved. It’s self-funded, no ads, and no tracking. Plus, it’s completely open source. Pool: https://testnetpool.com Code: https://github.com/Tech1k/testnetpool.com Since it's open source, you can always run your own pool or node locally if you’re serious about testing. I’m here to help anyone who wants to set that up. This pool is just for convenience and to keep the testnets alive, not to centralize anything. If you encounter any issues or want a feature, drop a message here or create an issue on GitHub.

This would be very interesting if your pool follows some of the changes suggested by stwenhao, to ignore CPU blocks. If a pool does that properly, ASIC miners might switch there and actually fix testnet4. For what it's worth: you don't need a pool to mine Monero Stagenet:

Actually, BlackHatCoiner prepared the code: https://batmanbytes.github.io/testnet4-softfork/ My main contribution here was a hint, that it is not needed to change the time during difficulty adjustments. I think this soft-fork will fail, but well, people can try to do it anyway. It is only a matter of enough hashrate, to enforce new rules, everything else is ready.
