The Journey of Crypto Markets

Hey everyone, It's been a hot minute since I last chimed in here (like 15 years). In that time, I've mostly been a watcher rather than a doer, traveling and seeing how the markets have changed in ways we never could've imagined back in the day. When Bitcoin was just starting out, the thought that something you could mine on your own computer would turn into this massive thing was pretty wild. Watching it all unfold has been one of the coolest experiences of my life. I've always been a fan of the crypto movement, and the fact that anyone can whip up their own coin now really captures the freedom we early believers fought for against the old-school financial system. I've thought about creating my own crypto too, not something as mainstream as Bitcoin or Ethereum, but just something fun, like Elon did with Doge. I'm curious about how the crypto markets will keep changing, and I'm excited to say that I’ll be keeping a close eye on it, since it's what lets me live my life the way I do now. I'd love to hear from others about their own journeys and what they think is in store for our beloved crypto.

have you heard of pump.fun? they made a launchpad that exactly describes what you were talking about creating infinite potential for any memecoin you want.

how much bitcoin were you able to mine since 2011, just curious because the price has been significantly rising ever since.

Just checked it out and created my very own Spider coin! My daughter and I would constantly watch the itsy bitsy spider every night before bed, so holds a lot of good memories. https://pump.fun/coin/56nU9BgoWQNWNXtjKfiYURkLrqnVeopiFTNhQ5ibpump

What really stood out to me is how you talk about freedom. Back in the early days, crypto freedom was about openness. Anyone could mine, move value around, or simply step outside the system. These days, freedom feels a lot more like just staying afloat in a space full of noise, leverage, and short term thinking. Maybe the next stage isn’t about bigger markets or faster networks, but about a bit of self control. People consciously choosing tools that actually protect them, even when there’s no quick win or obvious profit attached. Seen that way, the evolution might not be as flashy as the early days, but it could end up being far more meaningful in the long run[url]

I think the key event of this market cycle will be Bitcoin leaving the top line of the CoinMarketCap ranking. Its place will be taken by something very high-cap from the RWA sector: either tokenized gold, or some other metal, or a commodity token, or securities tokens, or by stablecoins whose market cap will also grow proportionally to the inflow of RWA tokens into the market. After all, new tokens have to be paid for with something! And of course, that "something" will definitely not be slow, clunky money sitting in bank accounts.

The future of Bitcoin and other altcoins is already clear they've proven themselves. It's been truly enjoyable to observe them since 2011, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. As for freedom, economic freedom, it's now at the mercy of governments and countries everything is related to crypto. The good news is that many countries have started to adopt it, and the world's largest country is considering adding it to its reserves. I believe the market will evolve further, and I think it's still in a very early stage.

Elon Musk didn't create Doge. He just supported the meme trend, making Doge a pump and dump coin. I doubt he even mined some at the time. If you are a public figure, it's easy to manipulate the market with whatever coin. It's not impossible to create you own coin and reach a success like bitcoin or ethereum, but never with a meme coin unless you consider Trump coin a success. Bitcoin and Ethereum are cryptocurrencies with real use cases. Btw, how did you get to wear an avatar while you are still a newbie account? The forum doesn't stop to surprise me Lol

In my opinion, the market will remain highly volatile, and world events will continue to have a greater impact on market conditions. Sad to say, we will still have Ponzi schemes and high-risk, high-yield coins like meme coins, because some part of the community loves investing in this concept. This has been going ofr many years. What will be added is something investors and the community are interested in finding out. The community is open to innovation that will add interest to Cryptocurrency.

I was buying and reselling BAYC, and I had a lot of APE COIN. The coin and the project were very promising, but they didn't live up to expectations. I managed to sell all my APE coins in time, so now searching for new interesting project in crypto

That is probably how it is going to be, I do not think that we are going to see them be all that confusing at all. I get that it is not going to be that confusing because people have seen the prices change a lot, but at the same time we are going to see the overall market go up. So that means, the top 20 you see right now? A lot of coins in there could go down the top 20 list and in 10 years we could see a lot of different ones, OP hasn't been around for 15 years, in another 15 years it will be 2041 and that means a lot will change. But one constant will be that crypto market in general will be bigger.

well your account is way more older than my account, how did you know this forum before the Bitcoin hype. Well, if you want to create a token (but I don't recommend creating one), there are platforms like pinkswap and pump fun. I dont you to create another useless crypto or memecoin because somehow in my opinion crypto is tainted bad way when some people are losing their money from it. Crypto itself already evolve back then 2014-2015 there pretty much bitcoin and other dino altcoin like litecoin and the other now it become a major institutional investment and ETH with their smartcontract building lot of thing

Well it's totally different now when you were still active. Almost all of the altcoin market is now being used by some groups for their own pump and dump scheme. No longer fighting for freedom or what the libertarians of the early days. I'm seeing that everyone and the market is a wild wild west, it's all for the profit and money and not anymore of those ideas that the early crypto enthusiast has been fighting. Banks are involved, the very basic system that you used to be the enemy.
