I've been digging into Digital Marketing and CPA (Cost Per Action) for a bit now, and honestly, I've seen how much the game is changing, especially in the crypto scene. Those old-school "cookie-based" tracking methods are on their way out, and we need to change our strategies.
First off, Third-Party Cookies are basically dead. With browsers like Brave and even Safari/Chrome making privacy a priority, the whole traditional affiliate tracking thing is becoming pretty unreliable. That's why I'm convinced the future of CPA marketing is in Server-to-Server (S2S) tracking. It's way more secure and respects users' privacy.
Then there's the whole Incentive consistency angle. In crypto, we've got tons of annoying ads out there, which is why we're seeing the "Learn and Earn" approach taking off. This is a type of CPA marketing where users actually gain something real like knowledge and tokens leading to much better conversion rates.
Lastly, it’s all about Quality over Quantity now. Spamming links is so over. These days, it's way smarter to establish a niche authority, like a solid technical blog or a presence on a specialized forum, rather than just trying to get the word out everywhere.
So, here's my question for the veterans on this forum: have you come across any marketing strategies that truly work for crypto startups without coming off as spammy? Do you think decentralized ad networks, like Basic Attention Token/Brave, will ever take over Google Ads in our space? I’m really curious to hear your opinions.
