The market is climbing, so there’s a chance Bitcoin could hit a new all-time high (ATH). As someone who studies charts, I’m thinking we might see that new ATH soon, but it’ll probably signal the start of a proper bear market. In the previous bull run, we saw the last ATH in the first quarter of the new cycle. This time, it’s looking like it might happen in the second quarter. I believe Bitcoin will likely reach that new ATH, but altcoins, especially ETH, probably won’t move much and might dip more instead. Check out the chart below for a better idea of my thoughts. Feel free to share yours and drop your opinions.

I agree with you that altcoins will not do much. Altcoins recently has been becoming more pump and dump in a way that almost they are manipulated. I know that bitcoin will get to all time high but what I do not know is when bitcoin will get to the all time high. Also when the bear market will begin. But I am speculating that it would be around early Q4 but it is very possible that will might begin in Q3.

You are only speculating and not sure. Nobody knows when bitcoin price will hit a new ATH or when the bear market will start but we believe that bitcoin will make a new ATH before the bear season which will be a new circle. I hope that we can see a new ATH before the suspension of tariff increment expires. Who knows, it it's after the suspension of the tariff is over that bitcoin will face the bear market.

I wouldn’t expect too much even if we’re back at the $90k level. Feels like we still need some solid news or hype to really trigger a pump, and as far as I know, there’s nothing big out there yet. Honestly, I’m already happy Bitcoin bounced back to this level. If it had dropped to $60k, that could’ve caused a lot of panic. And like in the past, it might’ve led to another long, painful bear market.

Bitcoin has no negative news either which means there’s no reason for buyers to be afraid on buying now. There’s a speculation that China might dump their US treasury holdings for Bitcoin. This is a big news to look forward since China will surely make a counter move against US tariff. Bitcoin will skyrocket once they approve their Bitcoin investment, https://www.fxleaders.com/news/2025/04/27/blackrock-china-might-dump-u-s-treasuries-for-bitcoin-gold/

Well, it's most likely or not if we're going to see a new ATH before the suspension of the tarrif timeframe elapses. If we don't get a new ATH before then and should it affect the price of bitcoin to fall drastically again then it would be unlikely that we might be seeing a new ATH but rather reversely the bears could just set in while we are projecting an ATH before it. All am saying is, the effect of the end of the tariff suspension on bitcoin would have a huge determinant on these speculations about another ATH for sure.

There is nothing wrong about market speculation or bitcoin, everyone has the right to speculate according to their knowledge, but, ATH has occurred to Bitcoin at a price of $ 109k, for the second time I am not very sure ATH will be repeated in the near future, for example in the next few months. I more tend to be ATH Bitcoin will occur in the next Halving, not for now, even though we currently see the price of Bitcoin to move to the level of $ 97K does not mean that it will create a new ATH, that is my speculation, in view I am Bitcoin will be stable at the level of $ 80K- $ 100k it continues to happen repeatedly until the end of this year, entering 2026 we will see the real price of bitcoin.

You could have given us your prediction of what you think ATH price will be before the bear run, not like it'll make any difference or matter in whatever price will be then. Why I'm saying this is because whatever the price is before bear run starts is the ATH whether it's $110k, $150k or $200k. My speculation is that we can see ATH that will be within the range of $150k before bear run kicks in, I am looking forward to some positive news that will skyrocket price to an ATH. I'm not looking beyond 2025 for the ATH, could happen between 3rd and 4th quarter of this year but nobody is sure.

Be specific with your speculations, at least add a date instead of saying bitcoin so and so within days, weeks, it be more better to give a time frame to your speculation, because alot have being going on about this topics, some are taking the recent bitcoin market recovery to mean another bull season that could usher us into a new all time high like you said. BTW we have more to do at this period in time as long term bitcoin investors, we shouldn't get carried away so much with a short term bitcoin market reaction, because we may be too early to start predicting a particular price and bitcoin goes opposite our predictions, so for sure there is need for proper planing to stay at safe zone.

With how many bullish great news we are getting these days, we are not looking like we are going to be caring about it that much. Think about it, look at how many amazing situations we are in right now and how many people are doing a great job, that means it is going to be a profitable thing for us and the price will be a lot better. So that is why people are not afraid anymore and they should not be neither. If you can be careful then you are going to get a better deal out of this, and that should be the way to move forward. If you can do that then you are going to end up making so much more money with a bull run. The approval will come, many things got approved so far and it will continue to keep getting approved for a long time more, it won't be that easy.

Off course you're right although we've to be very optimistic as bitcoiners but that doesn't mean that we know when the price of Bitcoin will hit the next ATH and the bear season respectively just as you've said, as for the new ATH we will get their definitely before the bear market begins but when is just the question, I think this same tarriff increment stuf has been the cause for Bitcoin price temporal dip that happen few weeks ago and it seems the parties involved have started shifting ground May be that's why we are noticing the fluctuations from $92k - $97k plus in the recent days but as it now the price of Bitcoin may likely move to $99k or $100k before next week if it keeps moving upward as it has been going in the last few hours.

The market is already bullish and no sign of a bear market yet, we will reach a new ATH just that we don't know when but we should understand that bitcoin have gone through critical stages that are even worst than the effects of the tariff wars and as we can see the whole tariff drama is softening and the market is gaining strength recently, we should just hope another negative news do not appear and cause any tension again as the Trump's tariffs did, because if not for the tariff wars the price would have gotten a new ATH before now but it just slowed the bullish process and delayed the market from reaching a new ATH. The market is gaining more momentum therefore few days from now the price should be approaching $100k after then we can be anticipating a new ATH.

It's a guarantee that we'll see other Aths but don't expect too soon Op, bitcoin is volatile and market volatility is extremely unpredictable which it maintains it direction of good values. Most definitely the bitcoin market had proven it potential values that we foresees as store of values which however it fluctuating of increase and decrease of prices doesn't make it a flaw. As it stands we're recovering back to $100,000 after all negative news by the critics that bitcoin was getting to dump with recovery which lead to vulnerable investors panic to sell earlier.

Contrary to your expectations could happen, no body's expectations is able to move the market and at last it's how the market wants it will perform. If we were to live by expectations of price, do you know that some people have had it expectantly that Bitcoin will reach $200k in the first quarter of 2025, I remember I argued over it a few times with friends but time is finally here when they realize they were wrong in their predictions. I am not saying you are wrong but what you predict might be or might not happen.

Nobody is sure how the price of Bitcoin will get to this season. But I am speculating that this move will not be the last before the bear season. Even if it hits ATH, there are chances the price might drop only to recover some time this year. Some traders speculated that we would enter the altcoin bull season this second quarter, but there is no indication that it will happen. Altcoin price movement has been solely determined by Bitcoin price.

LOL what are you trying to answer when you say predictions may or may not happen and people look wrong with their desired price expectations. The price of bitcoin that is happening right now is going up or down because of everyone's price expectations, they buy hoping it will go up to $200k and they sell that they think this price is too high. Maybe your friend's prediction is wrong, but they still make predictions with their own beliefs and analysis, but you don't do anything and just comment. OK, let's take a look at the Bitcoin weekly chart, and this will run for the long term. Seeing how Bitcoin bounces after the breakout above the trend Flip line is already a sign that it will go upside and attempt to close the weekly candle above $98k-$103k or even attempt to break through a new ATH in the near future if the market continues to improve. A correction is bound to occur, and it is needed as another leap to reach the price of ATH. I just explained according to the chart data that happened, not only thinking that other people's predictions were wrong, I might also be wrong and these predictions would not be completely accurate. DWYOR.

Currently I can't tell if Bitcoin will reach another all time high (ATH) this period that the price is getting higher but I do believe that Bitcoin will reach there some day, just that I don't know when. However I don't suggest anyone to invest on altcoins because many of those altcoins are backward and can't tell if they will eventually become useful in future. IMO this is just another speculation cause no one is sure about there predictions.

Indeed, no one will know when Bitcoin will reach a new ATH. We can see some speculations but we know for sure no one will know. We still haven't seen the market go into a bear market, maybe that's what concerns some people to want to enter or postpone it. Declines have occurred several times in the past, but again, that proves the bull market will still run for the current period. We might just be hesitant, Bitcoin will reach a new ATH before the bear market comes, or we have to wait for the next cycle.

You really do understand ETH. When it's time to deliver to crumbles An evidence that no matter how glorified an altcoin is, most still remains a shitcoin. I'm quite positive on this month and next month Max to create a new ATH And it wouldn't be because of Trump I think Bitcoin has gotten it's footings back and ready to rumble Weak hands that came for the Trump pump should be off by now. Fingers crossed.
