1. A fit body is the best bet.
Gaining just 10% more muscle can lower your overall death risk by 11% (info from The Lancet). Doing 10 minutes of high-intensity interval training daily might make you feel 5-8 years younger than your age group after a few years. Plus, better sleep can really stack up benefits: during deep sleep, the way cerebrospinal fluid clears out toxins is 60% more effective.
2. Use knowledge to fight off time’s effects.
Random reading won’t get you far; structured, focused learning is where it’s at. If you spend half an hour each day diving deep into a classic from a specific area like psychology or economics, in three years you’ll have developed a unique way of thinking across disciplines. Work on your "knowledge transfer" skills: think like a programmer in your conversations and apply economic theories to improve family decision-making.
3. Uneven social strategy.
Granovetter’s theory suggests that weak connections (like acquaintances) can open more doors than strong ones. Aim to meet two new people from different industries every month and keep track of them; after a decade, you’ll have a diverse network of information. Pay attention to your role in the "structural holes" and you can become a hub connecting various groups.

I think number 1 is the best investment in the world, specially if you are aging and you feel that your body is deteriorating, then you have to do something about it. Maybe in the beginning, you might do some body weight exercises like push up and gradually go to gym.
Or just stop your vices as well, like smoking, drinking and others that can put a lot of strain in your body.
As for number 2, just continue to learn every day, learning something in a day will bring a lot of health benefits as well.
For number 3, or at least meet some of your friends and families and talk about something, just to give a sense to you and your mentality.

The number one thing seems to be neglected by some of the world's most successful people; one person I remember who realized how important his health was is Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc. According to some news, he regretted delaying surgery and medical treatment because he was likely too busy managing his undeniably successful business, but he eventually realized he needed surgery, only to find that it was already too late, as he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
So, always believe in the saying that "Health is wealth" and that it should be our main priority.
There seems to be a constant pursuit of short-term gains at the expense of long-term success. Health, knowledge, social reach; none of that is the short term, but compounding, who can ignore that? People behave as though they will wake up tomorrow, and somehow their body, mind, and relationships will miraculously improve themselves. That is not how things turn out
A strong body is about living better rather than only extending lifespan. Sleep, muscular strength, and everyday intensity. That lays the groundwork for more emotional stability and better thinking. The number of people treat rest as a bonus is amazing. One of our basic needs is sleep. Ignore it, and you undermine your own development
From the knowledge standpoint, reading arbitrary stories and scrolling timelines is easy. But real mental development requires constant thematic exploration of one topic then linking it to another. How does economics mesh with psychology? Where does coding intersect with social skills? Active connection of the dots creates the synergy
Weak ties, strong ties, bridging social circles, this is about real relationships. Some people imprison themselves in echo chambers. Then they wonder why new opportunities aren't showing up. They forget that real innovation emerges at the intersection of different worlds. Record the people you come across. Create a real network
So, do we keep complaining that success is too hard? Or do we commit to building body, mind, and social capital? Who is really working daily, day after day, year after year to see that compounding explodes?
OP, your forum thread has nothing to do with Economics and Finance. Your thread is about self-help and self-improvement.
You should move this thread to the appropriate sub-forum. The Economics forum has been spammed by several people(including one guy, that has several forum accounts).
Being healthy, well educated and having good social skills and connections is just common sense. But guess what. You could be healthy, well educated and have good social skills, and still be poor. I've seen intelligent people with great education working as average wage jobs.
Being healthy can boost your productivity, but this doesn't guarantee that you will become wealthy.

First of all health is wealth, hence your healthy you can always strive to survive, you can compromise other things but you cannot undermine your health status. However one thing that has caused compromised immune and health problems of the modern day humanity is the artificiality of food and drinks that we take in into our system, there has been lots of chemical preservations of food that has been harmful to the human body, ranging from tin Can foods and processed food and drinks. That is why there has been a lot of proclamations for people to go green and eat natural and healthy food so they can stay strong and live longer.
Secondly, knowledge is one thing that is hidden in books, hence you can spend quality time in assimilating what others have pen down, you then will be tapping wisdom from the fountain and wealth of knowledge they've gathered and have been able to write it down, and in doing so, there are life principles that you can use to apply in your life and you will see practically changes. So Reading makes you understand this complex society in a very simple form.
Thirdly, social strategy, it is always said that Man is a social animal, so as human beings, it good to always interconnect with your environment, no man they say is an island, so connecting with people from different field of endeavor gives you a different perspective about life and it helps for you to have open doors from different angles.
1. I agree with this statement because healthy body is the best investment. It's true that every 10% increase in muscle mass is linked to an 11% reduction in all-cause mortality (data from The Lancet). Also, just 10 minutes of HIIT every day can make your body 5-8 years younger than your peers after five years. Additionally, optimizing sleep quality compounds benefits: during deep sleep, the efficiency of cerebrospinal fluid in clearing toxins increases by 60%.
2.I disagree with this statement because fragmented reading doesn't compound; systematic, thematic learning is key. Spending 30 minutes daily in deep reading of a classic work from a specific field such as psychology or economics will help develop an interdisciplinary thinking model after three years but not necessarily lead to better results compared to other methods like continuous exposure through media consumption which may provide more immediate gratification without requiring much effort beyond watching/listening passively while doing something else simultaneously - thus making them easier accessible options when one has limited time available due its convenience factor versus having dedicated blocks set aside specifically towards studying certain subjects independently at length intervals throughout life stages depending upon individual needs/preferences etc..
3.Against my opinion Asymmetric Social Strategy according To Granovetters Theory states Weak Ties offer More Opportunities Than Strong Ones so Making Point Meet Two People From Different Fields Every Month And Keep Record Over Ten Years You'll Build An Interdisciplinary Information Network Focusing On Maintaining Your Position In Structural Holes Become Connector Among Diverse Social Circles But This Doesn't Mean We Should Neglect Our Close Friends Or Family Members Who Provide Us With Support During Difficult Times Because They Are Still Important Part Of Life Even Though Their Influence Might Not Be Directly Related To Career Advancement Goals
No matter what, our health should always be our topmost priority. If we want to gain more wealth and achievements, hence we should take extra care of our health first so that we will continue to be able and capable much for a longer time, something that we shouldnt take for granted in replacement for material gains and investments. Right, health is wealth, invest in our health first, the rest are just secondary.
The first two points are rather interesting and sync with what I've read about in the past - it makes a lot of sense really. Lots of people fail to exercise on a regular basis and that is will age them prematurely, it is tough at the start but once you build up a solid routine it just becomes second nature and something you do automatically. Exercise is a good way to release happy endorphins and helps to clear the mind when you're just concentrating on the next step or repetition. Point number two makes a lot of sense as well, in an age where people scroll through 50 tiktok videos before bed your mind can become very unfocused compared to reading a novel or educational book. Point number 3 is a bit jumbled though and is hard to interpret.
Number is the most important, i am not saying others are not or less important but i am saying that we should prioritize health so much that we dont joke with it. If we jeopardize our health then we have make the others 2 vulnerable. There is a saying. Health is wealth. So true, always take care of your health that only will help you achieve the success will aspire in the future.
I agree with the first statement. I have been working out regularly for about 4 months now and my fitness level has improved significantly. My clothes fit better, I feel stronger and healthier, and I am able to do things that were difficult before such as running up stairs without getting winded. It's amazing how much difference even just a few weeks of consistent exercise can make!
The second point is also true - knowledge does not come easily but requires effort over time through dedicated study sessions where one focuses solely on gaining new insights rather than skimming articles here & there which leads nowhere fast enough nor effectively either way so this approach seems like common sense really... But hey who knows maybe someone will disagree? We'll see though because everyone has their own opinion afterall right?
And finally regarding asymmetric social strategy; while meeting two people per month may seem daunting at first glance especially considering life gets busy sometimes however if we break down those meetings into manageable chunks then its actually quite achievable given our current lifestyles today thanks technology advancements making connecting easier than ever before via online platforms etcetera
In my opinion, strong ties bring many more opportunities than weak ties. This is because the most important thing between people is trust.
If a person trusts you, he can offer you a good job, can offer you to become his business partner, can give you important information that will change your whole life. Strong ties are connections between people who trust each other. Weak ties are connections between people who do not trust each other. That is why systematic networking usually does not lead to success. You get a lot of new acquaintances, but these are acquaintances with random people who do not trust you, but are simply looking for their own benefit.
For a successful and bright life, you need good friends or work colleagues who know you well, respect and trust you. This is your social capital.
this is an interesting take because most of the time people are just so focused in making connections with strong and influential people hoping to be blessed by them either by knowledge or by favor
but weak ties may also offer some humility and empathy that is necessary for a well rounded person they might also offer more humor and happiness
Good points, the first and second applies to my conscience, I Love exercising but sometimes skip my routines owing to my very busy schedules, but I'll try to be more committed to it.
Reading really developes our brain a lot and I wished I got more disposable time to read more. I was discussing with a friend sometime last year whom both of us read extensively before now and I was telling him we've lost our core values which was reading. I think when people start recording success, they tend to relief themselves of some core values that brought about those success, or should I attribute it to busy schedules? I told my friend that we both need to get back to our roots.
honestly this is interesting and I could say that it's really true, weak ties offer more opportunity because people still stick by the rule of business, you don't know the other people deep enough to make stronger negotiation and the other people also in the same state, so you get opportunity for having ties despite weak one, but also don't lose out on the business aspect.
I always know for a fact that having good networking will always give you far better opportunities compared to being lone wolf.
I consider the first point more in the process of life steps that are lived because health is a wealth that cannot be bought and even health is something that is quite important for anyone to have. How many people have abundant wealth but their health is quite disturbed so that the wealth they have cannot be enjoyed or conversely have good health but do not have much wealth, but their lives are much happier. This is just a problem faced by humans and there may always be no level of satisfaction regarding wealth or health but for those who are grateful good health is a great gift.
Health is wealth, that is not wrong but I think whether it should be considered as top priority or just secondary depends on our health condition as well as our age. If we are no longer young and our health is showing signs of decline, it is time to prioritize health above all else. But if we are young and our health is still at its peak, we don't need to spend too much time and prioritize it over other things. Because sometimes we spend too much time taking care of ourselves just because we are afraid of our health declining, we can fall into a state of laziness, stop trying. That will slow down our lives and even make us fall behind society.
So, in my opinion, depending on age and health status, we will have different priorities and need to balance our lives, not focusing too much on one thing and neglecting others.
I think having a healthy body is the best investment I agree with. Because when we have it, we will be able to have proper knowledge about the things we want
to know about bitcoin or crypto, and trading skills.
Because if our body is unhealthy, we will not be able to learn the important things about this field of the crypto space that we are in,
and maybe other people will agree with me here.
Health is our first wealth, if you cant prioritize your health over other wealth options, then you will have low chances to be successful and acquire other wealth options. However, the more you get focused on your health and do the things to make you even healthier, the bigger chances that you will turn successful and acquire other forms of wealth, not because you are able, but its because your health is your biggest wealth, and if you are healthy enough, you can still do a lot of hard work and persistency to do the best things in life, and live the comfortable life you deserved.
There is this following that's says..when there is life there is hope , the greatest investment now is your health ...because when physically fit then you can be eager to do more things or investment of great gain....but when the body or health is down, then the chances of compounding investment will not there , the truth be told....health is very important and a vital role to gain wealth....
