Basically, if Trump and the US decide to flex their power, the wealthy in Switzerland, Monaco, and the UK are gonna be the ones who take the hit. If the US restricts market access, raises tariffs, and limits access to systems like GOMEX, it puts the affluent in London, Monaco, and France in a tough spot. We could see their wealth vanish quickly, and banks might face some serious issues too. But if these countries support the US regarding the Iran situation, the rich folks worldwide are likely to be just fine. Billionaires from the UK and Europe will definitely push their governments to back the US.
So, if you want to keep your wealth safe, crypto or US assets are the way to go. Those two are the safest bets, while everything else feels pretty risky!
You think United States can use tariff to threaten the strong countries in Europe? Have you forgotten that the countries in Europe can also do things that are not in favour of United States? The best would be for United States and the countries to have a cordial relationship just as it was since 20 century until Trump become the president. The way Trump is thinking is totally different from how they are thinking.
Right now the problem is that it's not so easy when they try to directly support America in a clear way. We know in the current war Iran is still in control of the Strait of Hormuz which is the most important vital point for oil that supports almost all countries so when Iran tries to make a difference with the Pathology of the dollar then it could be that when some countries including in Europe do not follow the rules then the conditions in terms of their oil are definitely disrupted but when they try to follow the Iranian rules by paying Yuan as a means of transaction (not dollars) then this indirectly they do not support America because the Pathology of the dollar will make cracks for the US currency.
This is just one element but it can create a real rift for the relationship of several countries at once including the big ones.
Are they the ones that sent the US to start a war that was not necessary in the first place?
And what makes you think that people can not switch their partnerships to someone/country who/which is more friendly and will not keep threatening and holding them for a ransom or blackmailing them?
It's about time people started thinking that the United States is not the only superpower or influential country right now. There are a couple more. They just don't go on shouting, threatening allies and boosting about it.
Youre confusing the idiocy of one man (Trump) with the entire country (the U.S.). The Trump era isnt eternal, and it will likely end before Trumps official term as president expires. Everyone is already fed up with his idiotic antics, and they have no significant support within the U.S. So, while this scenario certainly isnt impossible, the probability isnt much higher than zero
The war with Iran should not have intervened, but Israel pulled it out and it was very ridiculous. This will have an impact on the credibility of the superpower in the present, America shows itself as being on the edge, asking for support here and there to many of its allies, this can get an interesting clause.
And your last statement is a thought that will grow in the world, other countries have opened their eyes and minds not to get involved even though they are allies, this is not about rich and poor, but the moral integrity of humanity is in crisis, not everything must be resolved with weapons if the authorities can act fairly, unfortunately some groups of humans are wants to drink the blood of others.
I think most of the wealthy people in these countries already hold some serious amounts of crypto. They don't need our opinion to make an investment in crypto as they probably did it years ago way before than most of us even heard about it.
Some of them probably acquired their wealth through holding crypto in the first place. I can't really lose my sleep over the wealthy people's problems tbh. They'll figure out a way to stay wealthy. That's literally their business, to protect their own wealth. It is not like they are carrying bricks or serving food to survive. They are just making decisions. If they think allocating more funds in crypto makes sense, they'll do it quickly. We are talking about Swiss, Uk and Monaco riches here. I don't think they'll have any problems.
Sometimes many high-ranking officials from other countries are fed up with Trump's aggressive actions, indeed he is currently in power on this planet earth, but Trump should not be able to suppress other countries that appear to be anti the actions that Trump is currently taking.
Talking about crypto digital assets, I might surrender that there is no definite speculation to be carried out, for me as long as Bitcoin is still operating well of course I will do it, but if Trump's threat really comes true, yes we can say this is the beginning of the World War 3 occurred.
Let the global economy be destroyed as badly as possible, in the future I am sure that after all countries finish the 3rd war the world economy will improve as best as possible.
The EU is underestimating its worth. Trump has been bullying them and getting away with it. I am happy that they are waking and are now aware that if they pull resources together in a few years, they would not need the US for security support.
He called NATO cowards today for refusing to be his puppets. He has boasted several times that he doesn't need NATO to win this war; it's his fight, let him win it. I feel sorry for the next President of the US because it would take so much work to repair what the emperor has destroyed.
You see in global politics is give and take because the US can use tariffs as pressure base and for the Europe countries they too have the power on how they respond to things. So the best way is cooperation, because if both sides now struggle for power, this action will affect the ordinary people and trade. If there is balance and understanding at the end, it will be more beneficial than this constant tension in the world
Sorry to butt in on your conversation, but what matters isnt concessions - its compromises! Mutually beneficial compromises! Imposing reciprocal tariffs is a CONFRONTATION; it hurts BOTH sides. Trump (not to be confused with the U.S. ) Tried to play by the rules he described in his book The Art of the Deal (I recommend reading it; it will help you understand Trumps behavior better). But this works in local business, where you have local leverage, but it doesnt work in a broad, independent market. And were seeing the failures of Trumps theory... He threw tariffs around like a cowboy, and then quietly slunk away with his tail between his legs and removed the tariffs...
The write-up is a bit choky, but I understood a few things. Well, It would be a shame if any country at this point, is still doing everything to please the US. Isn't it obvious that this country is just trying to be manipulative?. The level of entitlement, just to drag others into a war that they're not willing to join, is very crazy, or is their relationship with the US far more than the usual?.
I think at this point, countries needs to start putting their economy in order, and try to create opportunities that can make themselves independent in so many areas for as long as possible, because alliance with the US is not longer looking beneficial.
